Adult rash - a skin disease or symptom of another disease

Many skin rashes are caused by the reaction of the body to various toxins that have come from outside. This reaction can be caused by anything - from an allergy to medicines or products, to infectious or fungal infections of the skin. A skin rash on the body has recently become a ubiquitous phenomenon, since there are a huge amount of organic, inorganic and synthetic chemicals next to us that we touch daily. Pollution of our environment, genetically modified foods, dead food - all this can cause a rash on the body in an adult.

The rash is flat and convex, wet or dry, without inflammation and with them. Skin rashes can be accompanied by tingling, itching, burning, but can be without these manifestations. A rash on an adult's body can occur and disappear again. A rash has many forms and manifestations.

Treatment only of the skin gives practically no results. The treatment should be comprehensive, since the only way to eliminate the cause of the disease itself, and not only its symptoms, which manifest as a rash on the body in an adult. In the case of such a disease, various tests will be required to prescribe an effective method of treatment. Only on the basis of their results will the doctor be able to choose the right course of therapy.

There are many reasons, consult a doctor with a problem such as a rash on the body of an adult. Competent consultation will be needed in such cases:

An allergic rash on an adult's body is one of its most common symptoms. With a general reaction of the body to an allergen, a rash appears throughout almost the entire human body. Sometimes allergic skin rashes are limited. The most common cause of these types of rashes is food allergy or touching a strong allergen. Recently, an allergy to various detergents has been very common. In this case, the rash is concentrated mainly in the area of โ€‹โ€‹the hands.

Skin rashes can also occur with an allergy to antibiotics and other drugs. Some infectious, viral and fungal diseases are accompanied by a specific skin rash (fungal infection, chickenpox, scarlet fever).

Another common cause of an adult skin rash is the presence of skin parasites. One of the varieties of such diseases is scabies and demodicosis caused by subcutaneous ticks. Typically, these diseases are accompanied by severe, ongoing itching. These diseases are dangerous because they are highly contagious. All severe skin rashes may require lengthy examination and treatment.

If cortisone lubrication is not enough to eliminate the rash, be sure to consult a dermatologist. If rashes often occur after using some kind of household chemicals, try to discard them. Try to limit their use to a minimum. Often, the rejection of the usual household chemicals can completely eliminate some types of skin rashes.
