We draw scissors together

Below we will figure out how to draw scissors yourself. It does not take much time and labor. We will draw standard medium-sized scissors.

So, you need a blank sheet of paper, a simple pencil, an eraser, a pair of compasses or two round figures of different diameters.

Here's how to draw a pair of scissors in stages using a simple pencil and imagination.

1. It doesn't matter how you turn the sheet of paper. For example, put it horizontally. Take a pair of compasses or a shape to circle. We draw two circles, the distance between which should be 1-1.5 centimeters.
2. Now inside the resulting circles, draw circles of smaller diameter. We got finger holes.
3. From a large circle, draw a line diagonally, sharpening it to the top. Next to it, draw a second straight line parallel to the first. One blade is ready.
4. We do the same with the second side. The second blade turned out. Do not forget that one of them will in any case be above the second, i.e. closer to the viewer. This means that you need to erase two small lines of intersection from one blade.
5. The two components of the scissors are interconnected with a clove. At the intersection of two blades a centimeter above the handles, we will depict this very mount.
6. Add shadows in the necessary places to give depth and realism to the image.

Alternatively, you can first draw completely one side, then the second. For some, this option seems easier. Try different methods to determine which one is right for you. You can also change the shape of the handles (for example, make them oval, or one round, and the second oval) and the length of the scissors.

This is how easy it is to draw scissors with a pencil. But you can decorate them. To do this, we recommend using pencils or gel pens. To add volume to the scissors, darken the outside and inside of the handles and blades. And the middle, on the contrary, lighten.

How to decorate scissors

Color the pens with the color you like, and give the blades a metallic shade using gray.

Explain and show the child how to draw a pair of scissors, and suggest painting them with oil crayons. They will add some volume to the image, and the picture will certainly look more beautiful and believable.
