The director of the drama "Uchilka" was Alexei Petrukhin. Petrukhin is better known as the producer of the horror film "Viy", which in 2014 took first place in the box office at the Russian box office. In the same picture, Petrukhin played a supporting role - Homa Brutus. Prior to Uchilka, as a director, Alexey shot only one tape - "To be or not to be."
For the filming of his social drama, Petrukhin chose school No. 7 of Korolev. By the way, one of the leading actors in the film, Andrei Merzlikin, studied at the same school.

The plot of the film resembles a psychological thriller in terms of emotionality and tension of development. Alla Nikolaevna is a history teacher, she teaches in a regular school. But from lesson to lesson, she is faced with an unpleasant situation: the students do not listen to her at all, and even allow themselves to scoff at an already unhappy “teacher”. Brought to the extreme, the heroine of Irina Kupchenko brings weapons to school and takes hostage 11 grade, not even knowing what this will turn out for her.

Irina Kupchenko is a recognized star of Soviet cinema. She appeared for the first time in cinema in 1969, immediately receiving the main role, which rarely happens with actors.
Irina was a little shy by nature, therefore, despite her dreams about the theater, for a long time did not dare to choose this particular profession. The whole year after school, the girl studied at the department of foreign languages in Kiev and only in the 66th she became a student of the Shchukin school.
