His work in the theater is also invaluable. He was an outstanding star of the era of the 50-60s. He played both comic and dramatic roles, and also took part in various television projects.
The beginning of the creative path
Famous in the middle of the 20th century, Jacques Dinam was born in a suburb of Paris, in a small settlement called Montrouge, on December 30, 1923. It is noteworthy that the name given to the future actor at birth was slightly different - Jacques Andre Francois Joseph Barbe. Very little is known about the parents of the future star of French cinema and about his own plans for his future life. But we can say with full confidence that at the age of 20, Jacques already knew for sure that he wanted to play on stage and act in films.
In the early 1940s he joins the ranks of the theater troupe of Jean Daste. There he works and simultaneously learns all the practical tricks of acting for three years. By the way, it was upon arrival in the troupe that the artist decided to change the last name to a more harmonious and short one - Jacques Dinam.
