We prepare the Bianco Breeze cocktail on our own

The Bianco Breeze cocktail is a low alcohol drink. It contains a small amount of weak alcohol, in addition, it is diluted with a large amount of ice. Thanks to the name, one can easily guess that it includes a noble white vermouth. The main advantages of the drink are expressive color, refreshing berry-fruit aroma with bitterness and, of course, ease of preparation.

In addition to the aforementioned white vermouth, the Bianco Breeze cocktail includes grapefruit juice and cranberry juice . I must say that all three ingredients are very widely used in bartending art, but in one glass are quite rare. How did these drinks win such love of bartenders? Everything is very simple. White vermouth acts as an expressive alcohol base. Its spicy herbal flavor sets the tone for the cocktail. The bitter grapefruit juice usually gets into drinks in order to smooth out the excessive sweetness of other ingredients, to add a perky note. In addition, it has an inimitable shade similar to the sky at dawn. Cranberries fruit juice, by the way, is also bitter, adds density and stands out in the bouquet with a berry aroma. The Bianco Breeze cocktail perfectly combines all of these ingredients.

No complicated bar equipment for cooking is required. Many cocktail recipes suggest at least the use of a shaker, but even this is not needed in this case. "Bianco Breeze" is prepared in the same bowl in which it will be served. Traditionally, this dish is a 400 ml highball. But in its absence, it is permissible to use a regular wine glass.

So let's get started. To make the Bianco Breeze cocktail, the first thing we do is fill the highball with ice cubes. Now pour a portion of vermouth into it - exactly 50 ml. Next we will send the same amount of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. And lastly, send 100 milliliters of cranberry juice into a glass.

If everything is done carefully, you can find out how beautifully and unusually the ingredients mix. Vermouth sinks to the bottom, and in the middle of the lower layer it partially mixes with juice. The density of these liquids is slightly different, so the process of mixing them can not be called instantaneous. But the fruit drink is heavier and denser, it sinks to the bottom with large spherical drops, breaking into smaller ice cubes.

Sometimes the recipes of Bianco Breeze cocktails are modified, the ingredients are supplemented with slices of lime, grapefruit or lemon, sprigs of mint or cranberries.
