It is healthy and tasty. Cilt Silt

When cooking silt from cherry, there are several nuances.

When preparing berries, it is necessary to squeeze out the seeds, but at the same time try to keep it intact. Cherry can produce a small amount of juice, which simply will not be enough to boil it in its own juice. In this case, during cooking, you will need to add a couple of tablespoons of water. A kilogram of cherries will require at least 700 grams of granulated sugar. Cook the cherry silt, after the berry has boiled, for at least half an hour. Once the sugar has melted, immediately pour the contents of the pan into jars.

By the way, one more advantage of the silt over our usual jam is that it can be poured and placed in the freezer. In fact, you will get a frozen berry, which will not only be tasty, but also retain all its beneficial properties. Many can say, they say, why boil a berry in this case, if it can simply be frozen. But the thing is that with cherry this number does not work. Whoever frozen it knows that after defrosting it is good to use it only for cooking compotes, since it loses its shape and only a sour taste remains.

Therefore, do not be afraid to experiment.

Silt of all berries

As you already understood, to prepare such a silt according to the usual technology only with the addition of various berries. The maximum that the hostess needs to know if she has ever prepared such jam at least once in her life is that when preparing Swedish jam, silt from all berries must be able to combine them correctly.

For example, you should not combine cherries with currants, as for the preparation of such a jam you will need a large amount of granulated sugar, otherwise you risk getting sour meat. As for citrus fruits, the combination of lime and lemon can also be, to put it mildly, a losing option.

And the rest is no limit to your imagination.

Reviews
