Fish in the foil. Recipe

Fish in foil, the recipe for which can be read below, cooks quickly and turns out to be very tasty. A dish prepared in this way tastes very juicy and looks beautiful. Fish meat becomes tender and well baked. This dish contains more vitamins and fewer calories than fried fish. Large pieces should be closed tightly, otherwise the dish will be spoiled - the juice will flow out and the fish will turn out dry. Cooking fish in foil has some features. Wrapping it, it is necessary to avoid contact of the foil with delicate pulp, otherwise it will be difficult to separate the fish, therefore, if it is cut into pieces, it is placed on a pillow of vegetables and covered with, for example, onion. The readiness of the fish is determined by the so-called "raising the foil."

Fish in the foil. Recipe 1. Salmon fillet with potatoes and mushrooms

To prepare you will need:

  • salmon fillet - 500 g
  • potatoes - 3 pcs.
  • bulb
  • fresh mushrooms - 300 g
  • lemon (juice)
  • spices to taste
  • salt
  • soy sauce

You need to cook like this:

Marinate fish in soy sauce with spices and lemon juice. While the fish is pickling, peel the potatoes and cut them into thin mugs. Lubricate the foil generously with vegetable oil and put on it potatoes, peeled and chopped fresh mushrooms and pickled fish. Carefully pinch the foil in the form of an envelope, place it on a baking sheet and put in the oven for half an hour, preheating it to 200 degrees. If desired, sprinkle the fish with hard grated cheese.

Fish in the foil. Recipe 2. Fish with vegetables, cooked in portions

To prepare you will need:

  • trout or salmon fillet - 600 g
  • lemon
  • bell pepper - 150 g
  • zucchini - 150 g
  • carrots - 150 g
  • onion - 150 g
  • greens
  • spices to taste
  • salt

Cook like this:

Cut the fish fillet into portions and put each separately on a sheet of foil, sprinkled with lemon juice first (or put a thin circle of lemon), sprinkle with spices (you can buy a special seasoning for fish), salt. Top with fresh vegetables, previously peeled and cut into strips. Sprinkle with spices and salt slightly, garnish with a sprig of dill (parsley). If desired, you can sprinkle with grated cheese. Wrap fish pieces in foil and pinch edges. Cook for half an hour in a preheated oven to 200 degrees.

The dish is served on a plate right in the foil. Garnish may include lettuce, greens, chopped fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. Fish in foil with vegetables is ready. This is a light dish that can be considered a diet.

Fish in foil, recipe 3. Whole carp

To prepare you will need:

  • whole fresh carp - not more than 1.5 kg
  • lemon
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • vegetable oil
  • salt
  • Bay leaf
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • spices to taste

Cooking should be as follows:

Clean the carcass of the scales, remove the gill plates and gut. Wash the carcass thoroughly, dry it with a paper towel and generously rub inside with salt and outside, sprinkle with half the juice of the lemon juice, cut the remaining lemon into circles. To make incisions on one side of the carcass, their number is equal to the number of prepared lemon slices. Rub the carp’s abdomen from the inside with garlic (crushed or chopped), and pepper, put chopped onions, dill sprigs, optionally a bay leaf. Grease the fish with any vegetable oil, insert lemon slices into the incisions. Wrap in foil (preferably in two layers). Bake for approximately 45 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. About ten minutes before the readiness to unfold the foil, put the fish in the oven for browning. Transfer the finished carp to the dish. Garnish can be boiled or fresh vegetables. The carp should be juicy. It’s worthwhile to carefully monitor the time, since it is easy to “dry” this fish.

Enjoy your meal!
