An erratic sex life can bring not only pleasure (doubtful), but also the appearance of various unpleasant diseases, among which the Trichomonas disease can be noted.
In most cases, trichomonas (or trichomoniasis) appears with extramarital sex. Statistics show that 7 out of 10 couples become infected with trichomoniasis after the first sexual intercourse. Trichomonas, whose symptoms vary between men and women, affects the body in different ways, but, despite this, the infection can easily spread to the internal genital organs and cause serious complications in the future.
One of the first signs of infection in women is abundant, liquid, foamy whites, often with a yellowish tinge and an unpleasant odor. In women at a more advanced age after sexual intercourse, the appearance of whites with an admixture of blood, which very often contribute to the appearance of pain in the lower abdomen and cause a sensation of itching. The appearance of pain in the lower part of the lower back during urination or during sexual intercourse is also characteristic during the period of infection with trichomoniasis. Due to severe itching and burning, superficial ulcers on the labia are not excluded , which, if not cured in a timely manner, can spread up to the cervix and contribute to erosion or inflammation. If the disease is started, then Trichomonas, the symptoms of which immediately begin to make itself felt, can usually progress to acute inflammation of the mucous membrane in the uterine membrane, which will eventually disrupt the menstrual cycle, increase leucorrhoea and pain during sex. It is urgent to prevent the entry of trichomonads into the uterine appendages, which will lead to severe damage to the fallopian tubes and ovaries, and this, in turn, will cause possible infertility.
Cases are not excluded when Trichomonas is not immediately detected. Symptoms can be so invisible or insignificant that even during pregnancy, after an abortion or childbirth, women are unaware of infection for several months. Such cases are quite dangerous, since the latent form of trichomoniasis very quickly becomes an acute chronic form.
The first signs of infection in men are the appearance of itching or burning, as well as pain during urination. Urethral discharge, usually transparent or grayish-white , is not excluded. Trichomonas in men, the symptoms and signs of which do not immediately begin to bother, can subsequently lead to great inconvenience during intercourse or affect potency. The latent form of trichomoniasis in the male population is also possible, as in women, but unlike the female population, it is easier for men to notice infection, especially after drinking alcohol or spicy foods that begin to aggravate pain during urination. Complex cases of Trichomonas are not uncommon, when long-term treatment can become not only unsuccessful, but also lead to a neurologist. Running trichomoniasis will give complications to many genitals. The head of the penis will begin to redden, wounds or abrasions will gradually appear on the penis itself, and the foreskin will begin to swell, causing inconvenience at any time. Also, fever and severe pain in the scrotum and testicles are not excluded. A timely visit to a doctor will save you from possible inflammation of the prostate gland, that is, from prostatitis.
Usually, the doctor prescribes the traditional treatment, which uses antibiotics and specialized drugs. In addition, any venereologist who leads you will require an examination of your partner, since Trichomonas, whose symptoms and consequences can be horrifying, puts the patient at great risk in the future, making him defenseless against other dangerous sexually transmitted diseases.
