Biography
Korotkova Irina Yurievna was born on August 25, 1947 in the city of Moscow. In childhood and adolescence, she attended the drama studio of the Central Children's Theater. The knowledge and experience gained there helped yesterday a school graduate to successfully pass exams at the B.V. Schukin Theater School. She studied under the teacher Lvova V.N.
Student Korotkova Irina was invited to work in the cinema in 1967. Thanks to her participation in the Unforgettable project, the girl managed to visit Italy, where she went to represent the cinema of the Soviet Union in 1970.
Shortly after graduating, Irina Korotkova got a job at the Lark Theater Studio, which was directed by animator B. I. Ablynin in those years. After the studio ceased to exist in 1972, Irina joined the Moscow Puppet Theater, where she worked until 2012.
Irina Korotkova was married to a film figure Alexander Kosarev. She has two daughters: Catherine and Maria.
