A four-eared creature was born on the moon, from where it fell to our planet. Belonging to the race of fallen moon bees, Luntik possesses analytical thinking. Despite the fact that he was only five years old, he is able to evaluate the actions of terrestrial inhabitants, draw appropriate conclusions and reasonably reason.
As a character, Luntik is represented exclusively by a positive hero. On our planet, he quickly finds “earthly” relatives in the face of the bees of Baba Kapa and grandfather Shera, a general by rank. They become for him “adult” teachers, to whom he turns for help or advice.
The new-found friends of an unusual creature are the grasshopper Kuzya and the ladybug Mila. In contrast, they created other characters of “Luntik”: the harmful caterpillar brothers Wupsen and Pupsen, Spider Shnyuk, often hiding from the indifference behind the mask, a smart little bee and earthworm inventor Korney Korneevich. In the episodes, various representatives of the insect world often appear: butterflies, ants, beetles, fish and others. Each series is devoted to a separate topic and is practically not connected with the previous episode.

Hero’s mother, animator Darina Schmidt, works a lot in the animation field. The character Luntik, of course, remains for her not only the most famous, but also the most beloved. According to Darina, together with the head of the scenario group of the studio “Mill” Alexander Boyarsky, they for a long time developed not only the appearance, but also the internal qualities of the hero. Luntik is primarily a role model for young viewers, who make up the bulk of the entire audience. Residents of the meadow, on which the action of the eponymous series unfolds, love it for its simplicity and kindness.
