Thai meat is a spicy exotic dish, but absolutely any housewife can cook it at home. We offer a selection of recipes that can be used in everyday life, and for organizing a festive table.
The meat is Thai. Recipe with Carrots and Onions
To prepare meat, the following ingredients are required:
- 500 g pork tenderloin, cut into strips;
- 100 g of onion half rings;
- 100 g carrot straws;
- 20 g of tomato paste;
- 50 ml of soy sauce;
- 10 g of starch;
- spices and salt to taste.
Cooking Thai (40 minutes required)
Fry meat until cooked. Put carrots with onions to it, fry them until golden brown.
Put the paste, fry a little, add one and a half glasses of water, stir and boil.
Now dilute the starch in a glass of cold water and pour into the cooking dish. Simmer all together until the mass becomes viscous. Before being ready to pour in soy sauce, add chopped ginger, garlic, you can add feathers of fresh green onions. The meat is Thai ready.
The best Thai side dish for meat is rice. Therefore, prepare it in advance.
Recipe with vegetables
To prepare the dish, you need such products:
- 500 grams of selected pork (raw);
- onion bulbs;
- soy sauce;
- 2 Bulgarian fresh peppers;
- 2 ripe tomatoes;
- 5 g of starch;
- 2 small pickled cucumbers;
- vegetable oil for frying and salt with spices, based on taste preferences.
We cook meat in Thai with vegetables (cooking time - 60 minutes). Cut the meat with a sharp knife into the plates, beat off. Cut them into thin strips, sprinkle with salt and pepper. It is not necessary to put a lot of salt, as other salty products will be present in the dish. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and send the meat there.
Meanwhile, chop the onion in half rings and pour it over to the grilling meat. Along the way, cut the pepper into thin strips and also send it after the onion. Now you can finely chop the tomatoes and tomatoes, and then put them in a pan.
Note that instead of pickled cucumbers, you can use fresh ones, but they do not give the saturation and spice that is in the marinade. At this stage, the fire should be reduced, cover the pan and simmer for 7 minutes.
While this process is in progress, starch or flour should be diluted with water. Having opened the lid, pour the mixture into the meat, add soy sauce (20 ml) and close again. Turn off after 5-6 minutes. Thai meat can be served with any side dish.
Thai original meat recipe
For this extraordinary dish you will need the following products:
- fish sauce - 3-5 tablespoons;
- soy sauce - 3-5 tablespoons;
- brown sugar - 20 g;
- beef steak - 500 grams;
- onions - 350 grams;
- vegetable oil - 50 ml;
- 3 chili or serrano peppers;
- garlic, minced or crushed - 4 cloves;
- crushed ginger - 5 tablespoons;
- fresh basil leaves - 50 g.
How to cook this dish
In a large bowl, mix fish and soy sauces. In a capacious, deep bowl, mix sauces - fish and soy, pour sugar to them. Now cut the steak in such a way that you get two identical pieces. They, in turn, need to be turned into even smaller pieces up to 3 mm thick. Put the meat in a bowl in a mixture of sauces. Leave it there for pickling (30 to 45 minutes).
Now you need to prepare the onion. To do this, they cut it into half rings. A deep frying pan must be put on a strong fire, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in it. Now itβs time to throw pickled meat there and fry it. After about 5 minutes, when the beef acquires a characteristic pinkish appearance, the meat must be removed from the pan and transferred to a plate.
After that pour the remaining frying oil, add onion and fry for 3 minutes. Now you need to add the traditional spices of Thailand (ginger, garlic), put the meat back and stew for no more than 1 minute. The dish must be generously sprinkled with basil.
Thai rice and meat: recipe, photo
It is hard to imagine Thai food without rice, especially when the meat is cooked. The following recipe applies to classic dishes of the East.
For cooking, we need such products:
- 700 g of beef tenderloin;
- 1 piece of bell pepper yellow, green and red;
- 3 cloves of garlic;
- 50 ml of soy sauce;
- ground pepper, saffron (5 g), dill;
- 3 packets of rice.
How to cook meat
Cut the meat into strips, mix with crushed garlic and soy sauce, pickle.
Fry in a pan until golden brown, sprinkle with herbs and chopped pepper.
How to cook a side dish - rice
Cook 2 pans, steam 2 packets of rice in one, one in the other. Pour ground saffron into this container so that the rice becomes golden. Pour chopped dill into one of the bags from the first dish. The result will be 3 different masses of rice in color : yellow (painted with saffron), white and green (dill).
Put all the rice in layers on the dish, and place the meat on the sides. The classic enticing Thai dish is ready, and it is right on your table!
