- Make syrup. To do this, take a pound of sugar, six glasses of water, put it all in a saucepan and put on fire.
- Boil the syrup over low heat for two to five minutes.
- When ready, leave the syrup to cool.
- Pour the warm syrup over the petals and set them on fire.
- Cook the jam over medium heat until boiling.
- After that, reduce the heat and cook the jam for six to ten minutes.
- Stir the jam constantly and remove the froth throughout the cooking process.
- As time passes, pour in the juice that remains after the petals.
- Make the fire small and cook for another fifteen minutes.
- When the jam thickens, pour it into sterilized jars.
Store the finished pink jam in a cool place or in the refrigerator.
