Fettuccine (pasta) with salmon is a common dish both in Italy and in Russia. They love him for their exquisite refined taste and ease of preparation. The main thing is to have good pasta made from hard varieties and red fish fillets . Anyone who loves fatty foods can be advised to buy salmon or trout, or if you prefer, take chum salmon, pink salmon, sockeye salmon or coho salmon.
Today we will prepare a popular and delicate dish called "Fetuccine pasta" with salmon in a
creamy sauce. It is cooked quite quickly and from simple products, the maximum cooking time is 20 minutes. We will use long flat noodles - βFetucciniβ, which is sold in any hypermarket.
It is with this noodle that the salmon paste is tender, juicy and aromatic. It boils quickly and goes well with creamy sauce. It also contains a minimal amount of calories. If you wish, you can use ordinary spaghetti or other pasta to your taste instead of noodles; in any variation, the dish is delicious and satisfying.
"Fetuccine pasta" with salmon in a creamy sauce
Necessary components:
- Fetuccini noodles - 200 grams;
- fat cream (about 300 grams);
- salmon, suitable frozen, fresh or slightly salted - 300 grams;
- butter 50 grams;
- onion head;
- garlic (two cloves);
- cilantro, basil;
- salt pepper;
- a pinch of oregano.
Pour cold water into a large saucepan (per 100 grams of pasta - liter), pour salt to taste and put on medium heat. Pour paste into strongly boiling water, stir for two minutes and leave to boil until al dente (about 10 minutes - see instructions on the package).
While our pasta is boiled, let's fish. If you have it frozen, then you must defrost it in advance. It is better to take lightly salted or fresh salmon, which will need to be cut into small plates.
We send the butter to the pan, put the chopped onions in the same place - fry them until golden brown. Pour onion cream and mix well. Next, add fish, pepper, salt, garlic and oregano to this creamy-onion mixture - simmer on low heat for no more than five minutes.
We lay the finished noodles in a deep plate, put fish in sauce on top of it, decorate all this with sprigs of greenery - cilantro and basil. Pasta in a creamy sauce is ready to eat. It is better to eat it hot. Enjoy your meal!
Tips & TricksYou can cook pasta with tomato and sour cream sauces, as well as add grated cheese. For density, put a tablespoon of flour in the sauce (as on "bechamel").
