To prepare a dish according to the first recipe, you will need: carrots, any dried fruits, honey and a little vegetable oil. Take the ingredients by the number of eaters. You can use special dwarf varieties of carrots, such vegetables are sold in peeled and frozen form. Nothing to do with them. And you should wash an ordinary vegetable, remove the skin from it and cut into mugs or whetstones. Take any dried fruits: raisins, dried apricots, prunes. They should be washed in hot water. After preparing the ingredients, add a little vegetable oil, about 50 ml, to the pan. Lay out a layer of carrot circles. Pour them abundantly with honey. Approximate calculation: 5 (with a slide) tablespoons per 400 grams of carrots. Do not spare honey - the more the better. Place the saucepan on a slow fire and cover. Do not forget to stir so that the products do not burn. After 10 minutes, put the washed dried fruits in a saucepan and mix. Add some water if necessary. Put out for 20 minutes. The carrots should become very soft. Taste it. Tsimes is ready.

Tsimes can also be prepared with meat. For this we need:

  • ripe carrots (you can dwarf variety or regular) in an amount of 1 kg;
  • flour weighing 70 g;
  • fatty meat (best lamb);
  • oil (fat tail fat), sugar, spices;
  • raisins and prunes - 100 g each.

Wash, peel and chop the carrots as thin as possible. Mix it with flour. Rinse raisins and prunes and add to carrots. Salt, add sugar and season with butter. Put the ingredients in a saucepan and simmer over low heat. In this case, pour half a glass of water. Meanwhile, cut the meat and fry in a separate pan. Add to it stewed carrots and dried fruits.   • a piece of beef pulp weighing 500 g;
  • fresh onion;
  • carrots - 4-5 large root crops;
  • potatoes - 6-7 large root crops;
  • dried apricots, figs, dates, prunes, raisins;
  • vegetable oil and sour cream - a pair of spoons;
  • salt, paprika, any spices.

Cut the beef into pieces and fry in oil for 10 minutes. Salt, pepper. Cut the onion into half rings and fry in oil until golden brown. Salt, sprinkle with paprika. Wash the potatoes and carrots, peel and cut into circles. Rinse dried fruit. Pour a little oil into the bottom of the mold and add a couple of tablespoons of sour cream.
