Essential Ingredients:
- orange or lemon zest;
- 120 g of white sugar;
- hot water - 150 ml;
- refined oil - 4 tbsp. l .;
- vanilla sugar - one sachet is enough;
- 0.2 kg of flour (grade not important);
- a handful of raisins (can be replaced with chocolate drops or berries);
- 10 g of baking powder.
detailed instructions
- We turn on the oven by setting a 200-degree temperature. In the meantime, it warms up, we will prepare lean cupcakes.
- In the kettle we heat (but do not boil) the above amount of water.
- In a bowl with sifted flour, gradually add sugar, baking powder and vanilla. There we add the zest of the orange (lemon) passed through the grater.
- In a separate bowl, combine vegetable oil with hot water. Immediately pour this mixture into a bowl containing sugar, zest and other ingredients. Mix with a tablespoon. It remains to make the final touch to the dough preparation process - add raisins, chocolate drops or fresh berries to the mass. Mix everything again. If you want to see raisins as a filling, then be sure to roll it in flour, and then put it in the dough.
- We take out a baking dish. You can make one large cupcake with vegetable oil. To do this, you need a round or rectangular shape. We decided to bake small cupcakes. Prepared molds on ¾ volume fill the dough. We remove future cupcakes in a hot oven for 15 minutes. Then open the door. Check the readiness of baking with a wooden skewer. It must be stuck in the middle of the cupcake. We take out the skewer and look - if it is dry, then you can turn off the fire and remove the molds. Cupcakes are served immediately, but after 10-15 minutes. Carefully remove them from the molds, put them on a flat dish of large diameter. Pastries on top can be greased with cream or sprinkled with powdered sugar.

Lush cupcake with kefir and vegetable oil
Grocery set:
- two eggs;
- white sugar and kefir (any fat content) - one glass each;
- 1.5 tsp baking powder;
- 2/3 cup nuts (assorted peanuts) and vegetable oil (odorless);
- flour - a couple of glasses.
On Chocolate Shtreisel:
- cocoa in powder form and white sugar - 2 tbsp each. l .;
- 50 gram slice of butter (margarine);
- flour - half a cup is enough.
Practical part
- In a bowl, combine the melted slice of margarine with flour, cocoa powder and sugar. Stir until crumbs are formed using an ordinary fork. So, the chocolate shtreisel is ready. While we remove it to the side.
- Now we need to make kefir dough. Take a deep glass dish. We break eggs into it. Pour the right amount of sugar. We begin to whisk with a whisk. Then pour in the kefir, pour the flour and baking powder. Add another ingredient - vegetable oil. Mix. You also need to beat it all up a bit. In the resulting dough we introduce nuts (they do not need to be crushed).
- Gently pour the kefir-egg mass into a silicone or metal mold, the bottom of which was previously coated with oil. Sprinkle with chocolate shtrezelom on top.
- We send the form with the contents to a hot oven. At 180-200 ° C, the cake in vegetable oil and kefir will be baked for at least 40-45 minutes. During this period of time, it will increase in volume by 1.5-2 times. Such a lush and fragrant dessert will appeal to your household or guests.
