People born in the 60–70s of the 20th century speak with warmth and tenderness of the time of their childhood and youth, recall Soviet songs that taught children kindness, decency, friendship, honesty, love for the Motherland and all life. Such compositions are created in our time - the beginning of the XXI century. A striking example is the song "Outbred Cat", which is performed by the children's choir "Giant."
Meet the Giant
The musical ensemble under the leadership of Andrei Pryazhnikov in 2013 celebrated its first anniversary - 5 years since its inception. The Giant Choir is unique in that the members of the composition are from 3 to 11 years old. Young artists are trained in choreography, vocals, acting for free, which in itself is a rather rare occurrence. The creative team became famous thanks to the numerous rotations on Children's Radio of such hits as “Young Horse”, “Robot Bronislav”, “Cat Outbred”. According to the head, conducting concerts, master classes and game shows provides financial freedom for the choir. The head owns the copyrights to music and words, “The Outbred Cat” is the work of Andrey Pryazhnikov.
Life is not a song
The text of the song is a story about how an abandoned animal found a warm house, and children - a loving four-legged friend. In life, unfortunately, it often happens differently - not all purebred cats find owners. The problem of homeless animals has acquired a national character and is regulated by the legislation of Russia. The very phenomenon of stray cats and dogs was born by people, throwing their pets out on the street for one reason or another. Abandoned mongrel cats and dogs in the wild give birth to offspring - wild puppies and kittens that are not tamed by humans and are aggressive towards humans.
Find a friend at the shelter
Animal defenders are doing their best to fix the situation of stray tetrapods. One of the methods is the creation of shelters where, thanks to the help of volunteers and caring people, animals are provided with conditions for survival, attention and affection are given. Sometimes people who want to have a pet go to a shelter. Outbred cats and dogs will become loyal and faithful friends, despite the lack of noble birth, and the song of the Giant choir is the best confirmation of this.
Caring for our smaller brothers
An important point is the education in children of humanity, compassion and love for all living things. It is better to start teaching a child how to interact with wildlife at an early age. The best way to foster a love of animals is to create a situation in which the child has a pet. The owner of the animal must be responsible, take care of the pet, protect it. Thus, the child will develop empathy, empathy and understanding of the importance of caring for the smaller brothers.
Learning together
It is useful for preschoolers to read literary works whose heroes are ordinary purebred cats and dogs. Each book you read needs to be discussed together: parents and the child, in order to find out the opinion of the baby. Visiting animal shelters together, providing assistance and surrounding pets with care, you will teach your children a humane attitude to animals by your own example, and the good songs of Children's Radio will help you with this.
