Biography
Dmitry Troitsky was born in Moscow in 1971. He comes from a family of biochemists. In 1993 he entered the Moscow State University of M.V. Lomonosov. He studied at the Faculty of History. Graduated from it. He defended his thesis on an anthropological topic. In 1997, he studied at the Studio of Individual Director Boris Yukhananov. His specialty is directing. Among the teachers were Gleb and Igor Aleinikovs, as well as Yuri Harikov, an artist. In the studio, the future director was an assistant to Yukhananov. There he met many future colleagues on television and the film industry - Oleg Khaibullin, Olga Stolpovskaya and Alexander Dulerain.

Dmitry Troitsky in the nineties, together with Mikhail Ignatiev, Stepan Lukyanov and Andrei Silvestrov organized the art association "Muse". The most famous was the "Everyone" art action held in 1992, as well as installations at the Pushkin Museum - the first in its history. Troitsky is one of the founders of the CINE FANTOM club. This organization is dedicated to independent cinema.

Dmitry Troitsky in 1995 began working at the United Campaigns advertising agency. There he held the position of copywriter and coordinator of the creative group. In 1997, he, together with Alexander Dulerain, began producing various advertising radio commercials. They also created a short film called “Designer Youth”. Subsequently, Troitsky starred in the main role in the film Duleraine "Offshore Reserves." Both tapes are included in the selection of short films “On the Meaning of Life”. At the same time, together with Olga Stolpovskaya, Dmitry Troitsky made a film called “The Trial of Bruner”. It was shown as part of the largest short film festivals, and was also acquired by the Museum of Modern Art in New York for its own collection. The same authors for the first time acted as directors of a video clip shot for a song of the Ukrainian group “Vopli Vidoplyasova”. This work received the main prize at the festival "Debut Kinotavr".
In 1998, Troitsky served as a video producer at BBDO Marketing.
A television
In 2000, Troitsky began his career at STS. He took the post of director of the program called "Show Business". Soon he was offered the post of executive producer. In addition to the Show Business, while working on the STS channel, he was involved in the projects “Newlyweds” and “First Date”. In 2002 he launched the show "Windows". It showed record ratings for this channel.
However, in 2002, the channel was headed by Alexander Rodnyansky. At this point, Roman Petrenko, the former CEO of STS, suggested that our hero switch to TNT. So he did. Since 2002, Dmitry Troitsky is a TNT producer. He came to the channel with his own team. He closed low-rated and unprofitable projects and developed an updated concept of broadcasting. The first project was Windows. The program increased the channel’s share to 5.4 percent, instead of 2.7%.
Further, the producer relies on various reality shows: “Dom-2”, “Big Brother”, “Robot Child”, “Taxi”, “Hunger”, “Forbidden Zone”. The first of these projects was the longest on television in Russia. This is recorded in the state "Book of Records." Thanks to the producer, Ksenia Sobchak managed to start her career on television. He first saw her in 2004 on a recording of the casting of the hosts for the Dom-2 project. The producer admits that at that time she lacked experience as a host.
