Who doesn’t know the story of Harry Potter? Everyone who read this tale also knows about Severus Snape, with whom the protagonist has not developed a relationship with the very first book. And all because of Harry's father, who in his youth was a great feud with Severus. And in this article we will tell you about the young Severus Snape and the actor who played him in the last film about Harry Potter.
A little about the actor
Benedict Clark was born on the fifth of December, ninety-six. He is now twenty years old. He played the young Severus Snape at the age of about fifteen and coped quite well with his role. Its growth is one meter seventy three centimeters. The actor’s eyes are beautiful blue. This is a beginner, but a good actor, and in the future, perhaps, we will see a new star. It is worth noting that the actor himself has dark brown hair. In order for Benedict Clark to look like a real little Severus Snape, he had to be repainted black. The actor lives in England, in London. He graduated from acting school. He spends his free time rollerblading in the streets.
Benedict Clark Filmography
The filmography of this actor, of course, is modest. In addition to the film "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Part II," he starred in several more films. This is a short film "Following the Sirens" (2011) and Awkward Facades (2012), which was not translated into Russian. Both films are short. "Following the Sirens" is a thriller and a scary horror movie, and Awkward Facades is a melodrama. But, of course, the most memorable role Benedict Clark (Severus Snape) played in the story of the wizard who survived.
In addition, relatively recently, Benedict took part in another short film called Andys. They shot this short motion picture in 2014.
In the seventh part, Harry Potter learns that Severus Snape, played in the film by aspiring actor Benedict Clark, is a double agent and has been working for Dumbledore all the time. This happens after Severus had a conversation with Voldemort, who ordered his snake Nagaine to kill a former potions teacher. When the dark lord leaves the room, Harry, Ron and Hermione come to Severus Snape, who gives them his memories of his childhood, youth and his relationship with Albus Dumbledore.
Severus Snape's childhood
The first memory, which is connected with the young Severus, began on a practically empty playground. Two girls Lily Evans and her sister Petunia were swinging on a swing, while Severus Snape hid in the bushes and watched them. In the book, he is described as a sinewy and thin boy with pale skin. His clothes were too big for such a physique. From the book, it becomes clear that Severus Snape lived with his sorceress mother and Muggle father. Parents often quarreled, which left a certain imprint on the character of Snape. Benedict Clark like no one approached this role. In this scene, Severus watched as Lily swayed higher and finally landed very softly and smoothly on the ground. This interested him and he realized that she was a sorceress. Then Lily showed Petunia a flower, which in her hands began to open and close the petals. At this time, Severus Snape emerged from the bushes and told Lily that everything was clear to him and that she was a witch. But the girls thought that the boy was called, offended and left.

In the second scene, Benedict Clark played Severus as he sat on the grass with Lily Evans and told her about the Hogwarts school of magic, about magic wands and muggles. In the last scenes, Severus Snape with the help of magic painfully hits Petunia with a branch and Lily runs away, offended by him.
Severus Snape and Lily Evans in a school train
This scene is not shown in the film. In it, Severus Snape again reconciles with Lily and at the same time meets his school enemies - James Potter, who will become Harry's father and husband of Lily, and Sirius Black. On the train, he tells Lily that it would be very good if they both went to Slytherin.
The last scene with Benedict Clark
The last scene, in which Benedict Clark participated, takes place in Hagwarts. On September 1, 1971, Severus and Lily go to school. It is worth noting that first the distribution went through Lily Evans, and then Severus. When Lily was sent to Gryffindor, Severus involuntarily escaped a pained moan.
Critics reviews Benedict Clarke's game
As we wrote above, most of all the actor glorified the role of the young Severus Snape in the film "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Part II." Judging by the few reviews of film critics, the novice actor perfectly coped with his difficult role. The expressive facial expressions and beautiful appearance of the actor were especially liked by young fans of films about a boy who survived. Perhaps in the near future we will see more films with the participation of Benedict Clark, but at the moment there are only three short films in which he took part. Let's hope that soon Benedict smiles luck, and he will play some major role in the film of one of the famous British filmmakers.
