Structure
The active ingredient in all pharmacological forms is sanguirytrin (a combination of sanguirythrin hydrosulfate and helerythrin hydrosulfate).
As auxiliary substances in the manufacture of tablets are used: magnesium stearate, low molecular weight povidone, sugar or sucrose. The film membrane consists of red iron oxide, polyethylene glycol 4000, polydextrose or lactose monohydrate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, titanium dioxide, macrogol 4000.

- Diseases provoked by dysbiosis and the activity of pathogenic fungi (microsporia, pharyngomycosis, candidiasis).
- Intestinal intestinal pathologies with an acute course (food intoxication, dysentery, salmonellosis).
The solution is prescribed in the following situations:
- Diseases of the skin and mucous membranes of an infectious and inflammatory nature and bacterial (fungal) etiology.
- With periodontitis, aphthous stomatitis, ulcerative necrotic gingivostomatitis, other lesions of the mucous membranes in the oral cavity.
- With pyoderma, superficial blastomycosis, dermatomycosis.
- For the treatment of tonsillitis, diseases affecting the external auditory canal, middle ear.
- With endocervicitis, colpitis, vaginitis, uterine neck erosion.
- In the treatment of infected burns, long-term non-healing ulcers and wounds.
In accordance with the instructions, "Sanguirythrin" can be used as a preventive and therapeutic antimicrobial drug in the treatment of adults, children of any age, pregnant women and women in the lactation period.
As a prophylactic drug, it can be used in newborns to prevent the occurrence of purulent-inflammatory skin lesions, in surgical patients for the prevention of wound infections.
Liniment "Sanguirythrin" is indicated for use:
- In diseases of the skin and mucous membranes, having an infectious-inflammatory nature and fungal or bacterial etiology.
- With periodontitis, ulcerative necrotic gingivostomatitis, other diseases affecting the mucous lining of the oral cavity.
- For the treatment of infected burns that do not heal for a long time, wounds and ulcers.

Contraindications
What else does the instruction for Sanguiritrin tell us? A tablet medication is contraindicated in the presence of the following pathological or physiological conditions in a patient:
- Hypersensitivity to substances present in the composition of the medication.
- Age less than 3 years.
- Ischemic heart disease.
- Hyperkinesis
- Diseases of the liver and kidneys, which tend to flow into impaired functionality.
- Epilepsy.
- Bronchial asthma.
Liniment and Sanguirytrin alcohol solution should not be used:
- In diseases of the liver and kidneys, which tend to go into violation of the functionality of these organs.

Sanguirythrin should be used exclusively topically and externally:
- With stomatitis, three times a day make applications for the affected foci three times a day for 5 days.
- With ulcers and wounds, it is shown to do up to two dressings daily, the duration of therapy is determined based on the severity of the disease.
- With colpitis, uterine neck erosion, endocervicitis, vaginitis, liniment is applied to the wall of the uterine neck and vagina daily for a month.
- With superficial blastomycosis, dermatomycosis, pyoderma, it is necessary to lubricate the lesions for 10 days (up to two times every day).
Negative impact
Against the background of the use of tablets, undesirable effects may develop:
- Taking pills may be accompanied by the appearance of dyspeptic manifestations that disappear after refusing to take the drug.
- When using liniment and an alcoholic solution, a local burning sensation, bitterness in the mouth (when using the solution) may appear.
