"Ditsinon" tablets describes the instructions for use as a hemostatic drug with a hemostatic effect.
The drug can in no case be used for self-treatment. In order to avoid the sad consequences, the Dicinon preparation can be used only as directed by a doctor.
The medicine "Ditsinon" has an effect on the cardiovascular system, as an antihemorrhagic agent. By stimulating the formation of tissue thromboplastin, the drug is able to increase the rate of primary thrombus formation.
The drug begins to act two hours after use. The duration of its action is from four to six hours.
The drug is available in the form of tablets (tablets are packaged in blisters) and an injection. Used for the prevention and treatment of various capillary bleeding.
The use of the drug "Dicinon" tablets instructions for use gives the following indications:
- during and after operations in areas such as otorhinolaryngology, gynecology, obstetrics, urology, dentistry, ophthalmology and plastic surgery;
- with hematuria, metrorrhagia, primary menorrhagia, menorrhagia in women using IUDs;
- with nosebleeds and bleeding gums;
- diabetic microangiopathy;
- with intracranial hemorrhages in children of the newborn period.
Like any other drug, the drug "Ditsinon" also has contraindications. The use of the drug should be abandoned if the patient has:
- acute porphyria
- hemoblastosis in children
- thrombosis
- thromboembolism
- intolerance to any components of the drug, as well as sodium sulfite.
In addition to contraindications, the Dicinon tablets accompanying the drug for use contain information about side effects, which should also be taken into account when prescribing the drug.
- Headaches, dizziness, paresthesia of the lower extremities.
- Bouts of nausea and heartburn, heaviness in the stomach
- allergy
- lowering blood pressure.
Dosage and administration:
Adults are prescribed 10-20 milligrams per kilogram of weight. The dose should be divided into several doses. Basically, a single dose is up to 500 milligrams per day divided by several times. In special cases, a single dose is increased to 750 milligrams, which are also divided into several doses.
If menorrhagia occurs, Dicinon is prescribed for menstruation. The instruction recommends starting taking the drug from the fifth day of the alleged menstruation until the fifth day of the next cycle. The daily dose is from 750 to 1000 milligrams.
After surgery, the drug is prescribed 250-500 milligrams. Admission is recommended every six hours until the risk of bleeding disappears.
If necessary, children are prescribed 10-15 milligrams per kilogram of body weight per day. The dose should be divided into several doses.
The use of the drug "Ditsinon" during pregnancy is undesirable. However, in exceptional cases, it is allowed when absolutely necessary for the treatment of the mother.
Breastfeeding should be discontinued if Dicinon is prescribed during lactation.
Instructions for use do not contain information on the interaction with other medicinal products of the Dicinon preparation (tablets), because no such cases have been noted.
Storage of the drug should be provided out of the reach of children.
It can be used within five months from the release date indicated on the package. The drug should be kept in a dry, dark place at a temperature of no more than 25 degrees.
