American film actor and producer Vincent Wedge (his photos are presented on the page) was born on June 30, 1960 in the city of Auckland, New Zealand. His father was once exiled from Holland for radical Nazi convictions. In New Zealand, he met Vincent's mother, a native Polynesian. As soon as the boy was four years old, the family moved to Honolulu, the capital of the Hawaiian archipelago, where his father was able to find work as a pastry chef.
Sport
At the age of eight, Vincent Wedge began to ride a skateboard, and when he was thirteen, windsurfing became the teenager's main sporting activity. In 1980, the young man became the best surfer in Hawaii and entered the top twenty athletes in his class. However, in addition to success in the competition, it was necessary to earn a living, and Vincent Klin, whose height and weight was 1.88 meters and 96 kg, respectively, met the model standards, was able to get a job as a model in a large agency. Thus, the issue of material self-sufficiency was resolved.
Vincent Klin did not aspire to get a higher education; he was quite satisfied with the secondary education received at the Aya High School college.
In windsurfing, Wedge succeeded, in the 1980 World Tour races, he won the champion title and entered the top five surfers in the world.
Carier start
In a big movie, Vincent made his debut only in 1989, playing Fender Tremolo, the leader of a pirate gang in the action movie called "Cyborg" directed by Albert Pyun. A peculiar appearance, a cruel expression on the face opened the way for the actor to perform gangster roles. The second film with the participation of Klin was "Red surf", in which the main character was played by George Clooney. A character named Leg was one of the gangsters in the boss gang.
In 1991, the actor took part in the creation of four fighters, in each of which he managed to prove himself in the best way. Vincent Wedge, whose films quickly became popular, created one image after another on the screen. All his characters were completely negative, but the actor still managed to put a share of attractiveness in each role.
Actor and the police
In 1994, Vincent Wedge was arrested for drug possession. It was unthinkable for an actor to be behind bars. The shock was so strong that he forgot about drugs forever. They did not start a criminal case, the incident was hushed up, and the popular performer of criminal characters remained at large. However, this incident left a noticeable mark on Klin’s fate. All sponsors immediately refused it, and the sources of income instantly ran out. The actor had to work hard, agree to any roles, just to stay afloat and earn at least a little.
In the next step
In the late nineties, Vincent Wedge starred in eighteen films, with most of the roles being episodic or supporting. Films alternated with television series, the actor tried to be in time everywhere. Its natural activity and energy reserve helped to cope with the task.
The most notable roles were in the series Detective Nash Bridges, Rescuers Malibu, and The Adventures of Brisco County. From films for the big screen, one can distinguish the following: “Passion Wave”, “Explosion”, “Nemesis”, “Knights”, “Double Dragon”, “Night Hunter”, “Country of Gangsters”.
Organizer Experience
In 2001, Klin tried his hand at producing. He led from beginning to end the production of the film directed by Albert Pyun "Explosive Mechanism". The main roles were played by Stephen Seagal and Tommy Sizemore. In general, Vincent coped with the task, but did not return to producing films anymore.
