Our life consists of a cycle of events, many of which are repeated daily. We wake up, put ourselves in order, have breakfast, run to work, returning home, have dinner and go to bed. The next day, everything repeats. But we will not describe the situation so boring. Let's start in a different way.
Where does the day begin? From the ray of sunshine that looked out the window. With a kiss from a loved one and, of course, with a pleasant breakfast. How you will feel throughout the next day depends on how tasty, nutritious and fortified it is. After all, it is important to get a good charge of energy and a good mood in the morning, so that enthusiasm, energy, determination and a great positive mood accompany you all day .
We know very well how breakfast is and what the menu consists of in the morning in our home country. But what is the English breakfast, it is a mystery to many of us.
With the word "English" we have associations with something sophisticated, correct, strict and elegant. Does the imagination deceive us?
A traditional English breakfast has its own special name - brunch.
What is it? If you translate this word into Russian, you get a brunch, gradually turning into lunch. Most often, the brunch at the British happens on weekends, when you can lie for a long time and soak in bed, even if you have already woken up.
The English breakfast includes seven ingredients. The first is fried bacon with a golden crust, about 4 slices. The second - English sausages fried to black (three to four pieces). I would like to note that there is practically no meat in them. Sausages are made up of fat and soy.
The third is a few fresh tomatoes, also fried in hot oil.
Moreover, if there were no fresh red tomatoes at hand, the canned tomatoes in the jar would also be suitable. Fried tomatoes can be replaced with well-peeled fresh tomatoes, heated in the microwave, in which they spread over the entire plate, enveloping the whole English breakfast as a whole.
The fourth is champignons well fried in a pan with vegetable oil (home-canned mushrooms can also be suitable in this case).
The next ingredient (fifth), which is included in breakfast in English, is as follows. Three or four thick toasts, plastered with a large layer of oil to such an extent that the whole piece should be soaked through it.
The sixth - something that no Englishman would refuse under any circumstances - is white beans with tomato sauce. The inhabitants of England can eat this yummy almost around the clock and at the same time they absolutely will not get tired of it. Probably the same as rice to the Chinese and Japanese.
And finally, the last ingredient included in the English breakfast is a well-known fried egg. She probably looks at the Englishman every morning and silently asks him the question: “Can you really eat all this at a time?” I think this is not the only surprise for her. Surely, many who read this article at the beginning did not think at all that the Englishman’s breakfast is so high-calorie, rich, and, in my opinion, completely not healthy, but even vice versa. It turns out that most of the British who eat in this morning in this way, absolutely do not care about their health. The main thing for them to eat is delicious.
You know, and yet we have not finished describing the breakfast of a real Englishman. After using all of the above, they begin to tea. Usually it is a strong tea with milk and sugar added to it. It is not customary to drink naked tea, so toasts with butter or margarine, and possibly with pancakes and sweet jam, are added to it.
This is what an ordinary English breakfast looks like. Surprised? Did not expect at all? Believe me, you are not the only ones.
