Boil or boil is a rather unpleasant phenomenon, and even a dangerous one. This sore does not tolerate neglect of itself, on the contrary, boil is a problem that requires special attention. And even more unpleasant is a problem like a boil on your face. Having such a mark, the need to leave the house becomes a real test.
What is a boil? And how to treat a boil? This is an inflammation of the sebaceous glands caused by pyogenic bacteria, and the so-called “hair sac”. Lack of hygiene provokes the development of a boil, and this is also facilitated by the increased activity of sweat glands, scratching, irritation and abrasion.
If we talk about a single case of the appearance of a boil, then this can happen on any part of the body, but if the appearance of boils becomes multiple and constant, then this can happen on the neck, face, near the nose, as well as on the lower back. The initial stage of development of boils begins with a reddish, painful compaction that rises in a cone over the skin. After that, a few days later a purulent head appears in the center of the boil, then the boil breaks, and the stem flows out, along with blood and pus leftovers. If the process is sluggish, there is a danger that pus can collect too much.
If a boil is located on the face, then this is an additional danger, for the reason that through the circulatory system, pus may well enter the brain, and such a nuisance is fraught with, at least, inflammation. Only under the supervision of a doctor, a boil should be treated, but still if the boil is in the initial stage of ripening, then some recipes are designed specifically to accelerate the softening and maturation of the boil.
If a person is weakened, then after a single appearance of a boil, it is advisable for him to beware of hypothermia, otherwise the probability of furunculosis, which can even turn into a chronic form, is very high.
If a person suffers from acute furunculosis, then boils appear at the same time, this can cause a state of malaise, this condition can last up to 2 months.
Boil can be treated with deaf nettle. You need to brew its flowers in the amount of one tablespoon per one glass of boiling water. All this insist about 40 minutes, after which you can take half a glass up to four times a day.
There is one proven tool for treating the boil - it is dry brewer's yeast, which is drunk three times a day in the amount of 1 tablespoon until complete recovery.
Steamed figs can also be used as an option on how to treat boils. It is applied to the place where the boil is located.
As well as treating boils, as an external application, it is carried out using steamed leaves of aspen and for other types of inflamed abscesses.
A common Russian medical practitioner also noted the treatment of the boil: “As soon as we cook, crush and apply the garlic to the boils on the body or to other sores, which are without top, then the pus removes”.
Onions bake or boil in milk, and apply to boils.
One of the really working recipes for curing a boil is an ointment made from calendula:
to prepare this ointment, you need to take a 50-gram jar of petroleum jelly (you can buy it in pharmacies, you can also take petroleum jelly, but in this case the ointment will be liquid), 10 grams of marigold flowers, dry the flowers , then rub into a powder. Mix everything and insist in a cool place for about a week (the more the better), this is necessary so that the petroleum jelly absorbs all the useful properties of calendula. Thus, the ointment can be used not only in cases of treatment of boiling, but also other inflammations on the skin.
