Capturing themes that concern him in artistic images, raising subtle feelings and impressions from something from the depths of his soul, the artist offers themes for thought, empathy or debate with his creativity, and the role of the viewer is to understand, accept, comprehend them. That is why, the perception of a work of art is a serious work associated with both mental and spiritual activity, sometimes requiring special training and special aesthetic, cultural and historical knowledge, then the work is revealed, its scope expands, demonstrating the entire depth of the artist’s personality and worldview.
Types of art
The art of image is the oldest form of human creativity, accompanying him for millennia. Even in the prehistoric era, ancient people painted animal figures, endowing them with magical power.
The main types of fine art are painting, graphics and sculpture. In their work, artists use various materials and techniques, creating art images of the world around them in a very special way. For this, painting uses all the wealth of colors and shades, graphics - only a play of shadows and strict graphic lines, the sculpture creates three-dimensional tangible images. Painting and sculpture, in turn, are divided into easel and monumental. Easel works are created on special machines or easels for chamber display at exhibitions or in museum halls, while monumental works of painting and sculpture adorn the facades or walls of buildings and squares of cities.
Types of fine art is also decorative and applied art, which often acts as a synthesis of painting, graphics and sculpture. The art of decorating household items is sometimes distinguished by such fiction and originality that it loses its utilitarian function. Household items created by talented artists take pride of place in exhibitions and in museum halls.
Painting

Graphics can be applied and easel. Applied graphic works differ from easel ones in that their purpose is quite concrete and definite. So, book graphics are designed to illustrate literary works and decorate books, the poster is used for certain propaganda and informational purposes, caricature and newspaper and magazine drawing are specially drawn for periodicals, and industrial graphics are used to decorate goods and for advertising purposes.
Sculpture
Sculpture as an art form has very specific features. The main one is that the sculptural image is three-dimensional, three-dimensional. The object for the image in the sculpture is, as a rule, a person or an animal. The genre features of this art form are also associated with this: a statue or a bust, a group composition, an animalistic genre. A statue is a man fashioned by a sculptor to his full height, sometimes with everyday, plot elements. A bust is a portrait image of a person in the chest. The group composition depicts a group of people connected by a single plastic movement and plot. This can be an image of a domestic scene, a historical or mythological plot. Types of fine art exist in parallel, but are closely intertwined with each other. They are a reflection of the artistic consciousness of society, a specific historical period of its development.
