Everything happens in life: unexpectedly guests arrived (relatives arrived without warning); you were detained at work, and you did not have time to prepare dinner; you need to take with you to nature something that would be convenient to eat; there’s no time or no strength to think of something for breakfast ... Sandwiches are tired, and in some cases they won’t save the situation. And then a wonderful recipe comes to the rescue: a loaf baked with cheese and garlic.

Quick and sharp

We will not assure (following the example of many TV presenters) that nothing will be needed to prepare this dish. For example, you cannot get cheese from a completely empty refrigerator. But the “lying around” 24 ingredients will not be needed. Moreover, a loaf baked with cheese and garlic should ideally be yesterday, that is, slightly dried - it is more convenient to cut it. Initially, it was assumed that the bakery product should be a French baguette, but our culinary specialists were convinced that from an ordinary loaf an appetizer is even tastier, it is only advisable to choose it with transverse bulges.

In addition to the actual bread base, you will need 100 g of butter (fatty cream) and cheese (certainly solid), garlic in the amount of a couple of cloves and greens - which one you like or what there is.

To get a loaf with garlic and cheese, which is convenient to eat, first of all, you need to properly cut the roll. It is sawed with a knife obliquely (if there are transverse cuts made while still in the bakery, then along them), and it is important not to cut the product to the end - it should remain conditionally intact. Garlic chokes, cheese, of course, rubs, chopped greens. All this is frayed with oil (it is better to get it out of the refrigerator first in order to soften, but in no case to warm it on the stove). In the incisions made, you need to carefully invest the resulting mass and mold it so that the loaf becomes as if whole. Then it is wrapped in foil and sent to the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.

Naturally, eating a loaf baked with cheese and garlic is completely impossible. So you have to cut it. But how - this is a matter of taste. You can bring the cuts to the end - and get hot sandwiches. And it is possible, if there is a sufficiently sharp and thin knife, cut between them, then the filling will be as if in the envelope. This method is very convenient if you are going outdoors.

By the way, the cut loaf does not lose its attractiveness and the next day - preheated in the microwave, it will serve as a quick and tasty breakfast.

If you slightly modernize the previous loaf baked with cheese and garlic, you can get a fully-fledged dish that even a man who plays sports or physically works is able to eat. To do this, you will have to supplement the filling of 200 g of ham (sausage, bacon, bacon - whoever likes it, only the latter is better to take less, otherwise it will turn out too fat). And for greater juiciness and vitaminization of the product, you can add 2-3 small tomatoes, which must be cut either into slices or slices. Everything else - according to the previous recipe, only in each cut, in addition to the cheese mass, is the meat component and a slice of tomato invested. And you want - add a sprig of greenery, also not bad!

Such a baked loaf is good in both hot and cold. But if fat was used in the filling, it is necessary to warm the “lunch”.

It is clear that a loaf baked with cheese and garlic (the recipe can be supplemented with herbs or vegetables) is tasty, but not always appropriate. For example, you are unlikely to prepare such a dish for breakfast before work (well, or before a date with a passion). Fans of appetizers and quick culinary solutions have already enriched the world with different options. So, a very appetizing version, in which the roll is stuffed with meat and mushrooms. True, since there are a lot of fillings, a sandwich loaf will not work here - you will have to take out the crumb. As a result, we have the likeness of a boat, into which we add all the goodies. And they include 200 g of meat (any), 100 g of mushrooms (better, of course, champignons), the same amount of bacon, half a glass of cream, tomatoes and mayonnaise - all this in addition to the ingredients already mentioned.

Bacon and meat are fried along with onions and mushrooms, the crumb is soaked in cream, then everything is mixed. The resulting mincemeat lovingly fits into the “boat”, on top - tomatoes, and then you need to anoint with mayonnaise. Unlike previous recipes, this loaf does not wrap in foil - it is placed in the oven just like that. You need to bake it for about 20 minutes, then sprinkle with cheese and again into the oven, until you get a golden cheese crust - this will be a sign of readiness.

Of course, this is not so fast dish, and much more products will be needed. But we are already talking about the peaks that can be reached by baking a regular loaf!
