Vascular diseases are divided into groups.
Inflammatory processes.
This group includes primary (systemic allergic) and secondary vasculitis. Vascular diseases such as aortitis, thrombophlebitis and phlebitis belong to the same category.
Atherosclerosis.
This category includes lesions in arteries of various locations (brain, heart, kidneys).
Embolism, thrombosis and thromboembolism are more โtherapeuticโ and โsurgicalโ pathologies.
Also, vascular diseases include ischemia of various types (including limbs), obliterating endarteritis, diabetic macroangiopathy, pre-gangrene and others.
According to classical anatomy, a superficial and deep vein system stands out. Communication between them is carried out by means of thin-walled vessels (perforating veins). Their defeat affects the formation of venous insufficiency. The main feature of this vascular apparatus is the presence of a valve system that provides unidirectional blood flow.
Recently, much attention has been paid to venous pathology. In particular, great importance is attached to its genetic nature. Moreover, in many cases, not vascular diseases themselves are inherited, but only hereditarily caused anomalies in the structure of the walls of blood vessels. Congenital inferiority in this case can manifest itself in insufficient equipment of valves or in the form of their anatomical underdevelopment. Hormonal disorders, physical overload are considered provoking factors for the formation of these pathological changes.
The most common manifestations of pathologies include:
- quickly there is a feeling of fatigue in the limbs after exercise;
- a feeling of numbness or tingling;
- constant swelling of the legs;
- non-healing for a long period of leg ulcers.
As a result of a disorder of capillary function, pathologies of the veins also develop. Due to the pressure in them, there is a change in the walls of small vessels. The capillaries become convex and swollen. Thus, a vascular network is formed on the legs.
The reasons for the development of such a pathological condition are many. As the main provoking factor, experts call an excessive load on the legs.
In addition, malnutrition, diseases of the liver and intestines, and a violation in blood circulation lead to a disorder of capillary function. During pregnancy, it is very important to monitor your weight, otherwise overweight can also cause the development of pathology.
Quite a lot of people create this problem for themselves by abusing alcohol, smoking, sun exposure, taking hormonal drugs.
It should be noted that the appearance of the vasculature is characteristic not only of the lower extremities. As a result of circulatory disorders, couperosis can develop. The vascular network on the face occurs in people with increased skin sensitivity. They are more susceptible than others to temperature fluctuations, as well as the adverse effects of individual cosmetic preparations.
The first symptoms of rosacea are regular burning and itching. Later, irritation develops, usually in the forehead, nose, or chin. With the course of the disease, the symptoms become more pronounced and occur more often. In the next phase of the disease, intense redness develops on the skin and the formation of spider veins.
If you experience early signs of vascular disease, you must consult a specialist in order to prevent undesirable consequences.
