The future author of the bestselling book “The Art of Emotional Balance” Roy Martin was born on September 29, 1953 on the island of Curacao (Netherlands). The family had eight children. Roy's father is a policeman, his mother was engaged in the home and raising children. My father did not have the opportunity to learn, so he wanted the children to get a good education.
At age 16, Roy went to study in Holland and in 1970 entered the University of Utrecht. Roy decided to become a surgeon, but after a car accident he had to give up this dream. He began to tremble in his hands, which is unacceptable for the surgeon.
