To prepare a large portion, take:

  • 2 skinless chicken breasts;
  • 4 large round potatoes;
  • a large onion and a couple of cloves of garlic;
  • 150 g of sour cream and hard cheese like Parmesan;
  • greens, spices, vegetable oil, salt.

The chicken breast in the oven with potatoes is prepared so simply that even a novice hostess can overpower the process. Wash and peel the potatoes, cut the tubers in circles 1 cm thick, chop the onion rings. Chicken breast also needs to be cut into small plates. On a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil, first put the potatoes, then onions, followed by vegetables, pour on top of sour cream sauce. It is prepared as follows: mix sour cream with half grated cheese (75 g) and squeezed garlic, salt, sprinkle with pepper and add dry herbs to taste. Half of this mixture should be watered with vegetables. Next, put white meat on top, brush with the remaining sauce. The chicken breast in the oven with potatoes should be baked for 40 minutes at 180 degrees, 15 minutes before cooking, you need to remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the dish with grated cheese - this will turn out a beautiful golden brown crust. If desired, you can sprinkle the dish with herbs and serve hot to the table.

Baked Potato with Chicken Breast and Mushrooms

This recipe is a variation of the previous one, and also has a unique taste and aroma. To prepare a hearty meat treat, take:

  • 1/2 kg of chicken;
  • 3-4 medium sized potato tubers;
  • 400 g of any mushrooms, you can take porcini, champignons, butter, etc.
  • large onion;
  • 300 g of grated Parmesan cheese, that is, hard;
  • soy sauce, mayonnaise, a little vegetable oil.

First prepare the chicken - wash the breasts. If they are small in size, you can bake them whole. Lubricate the meat with soy sauce so they become very soft and aromatic. Rinse the mushrooms well and boil for 10 minutes. Peel and cut the potatoes into slices, onions in half rings. After the mushrooms are ready, put them in a frying pan and fry with onions, add spices if desired. Now grease the chicken with mayonnaise on all sides (2-3 tbsp. L.). You can put it on a baking sheet (slightly oiled) - first potatoes, after chicken pieces, and on top fried with mushrooms and onions. Sprinkle the dish with grated Parmesan and send to the oven for 25 minutes or half an hour (the temperature should be around 180 degrees). After the specified time, the baked chicken breast with potatoes will be ready - it can be served as the main dish, it will be especially delicious if you serve a salad or a cut of fresh vegetables next to it.
