How to brew tea correctly

Tea, a cure for many diseases, is an invigorating drink used throughout the world. The tannins, alkaloids, essential oils and vitamins that make up tea leaves help improve vision, digestion, prevent tooth decay, and remove radionuclides from the human body.

But how to brew tea correctly to preserve all these beneficial substances? First of all, you need to pay attention to the water that is used for these purposes. In China, where special attention is paid to the tea drinking ritual, it is believed that spring water is needed to brew a drink in order to fully reveal its taste. Of course, in modern living conditions, it is not easy to get such water, so you can use either distilled water or improve the quality of the tap. So, if there are no special cleaners, you can leave the water in an open container for one day, so that the smell of chlorine disappears. In this case, only its upper part is taken for brewing.

Before preparing elite Chinese tea, it is necessary to soften the water. To do this, put a small amount of sugar, salt or baking soda in it. The drink in this case will become somewhat more aromatic.

To brew an invigorating drink, you can use the following method: put the kettle on the stove, and when the water boils, the steam that will come out of its spout will turn into liquid. Thus, the new water in its purity and softness will resemble distilled water, since it will contain no impurities of salts and metals.

Immediately after bubbles appear on the surface of the liquid during boiling, it is poured into a teapot for brewing tea, while it is not recommended to reheat it or bring it to a boil, as the oxygen concentration decreases.

Before brewing tea, you need to pay attention to its grade, since the water temperature for this can be different. So, black teas are brewed at a temperature of one hundred degrees at the stage of formation of many small bubbles on the surface of the liquid. Elite green tea is brewed with hot water (seventy degrees). A detailed description for each variety can be seen on the packaging. It should be noted that the tea leaves can be used up to three times, while each time you need to completely drain the water.

In order to know how to make tea, you need to pay attention to the teapot. It is best if it is porcelain, earthenware or clay. Its size depends on the number of people who want to taste a fragrant drink. A teapot with a volume of half a liter is usually used, but sometimes its dimensions can reach three liters.

The teapot must first be heated or scalded with boiling water. It is recommended to store dishes away from foreign odors.

When the kettle warmed up, and the water boiled, it is necessary to put a portion of tea at the rate of one teaspoon per person plus one spoon on the teapot itself, pour the last half, cover with a lid and a linen towel. After five minutes, the water is added to the top.

Interestingly, the drink is considered to be properly brewed if a yellow-brown foam forms on its surface. They do not remove it, but stir it with a spoon.

Thus, having considered how to brew tea, it must be emphasized that the method of brewing depends on its quality and grade. A high-quality drink contains many useful chemical elements and their compounds, however, in order to achieve such a result, it is necessary to follow all brewing rules. It is important to remember that a drink that has stood for more than two hours is not recommended, as it can be harmful to the body.
