There are not so many songwriters in our country, but still, few people know them. We love songs and artists, and we usually don’t even pay attention to who is the author of the poems.
early years
The poet Alexander Shaganov was born in Moscow in 1965, in an ordinary family. Among the close and distant relatives of Sasha there were no people in the creative profession. After leaving school, he entered the Electrotechnical Institute of Communications and graduated in 1987. He dreamed of entering the Gorky Literary Institute, but it was almost impossible. And the communications institute was near the house, and there was a military department. Then he worked for some time in his profession - a telecommunication engineer and a recording operator.
Back in school, in the third grade , Alexander began to write poetry. At the age of 14, he already knew exactly what he wanted - to write songs to be sung. And his poems sounded - so far only in school ensembles.
How it all began
After graduation, Alexander Shaganov did not abandon his dream of becoming a songwriter. He began to go to various concerts, met with famous performers and offered them his poems. But, as a rule, they already had authors, and the young, unknown poet was of no interest to anyone.
Alexander was lucky - he was given the phone number of Dmitry Varshavsky, who was the founder of the very young group "Black Coffee". Directly by telephone, Shaganov read to him his poems “Vladimir Rus”, which the interlocutor really liked. The song became a number one hit in a matter of days.
Shaganov and the Lyube group
After this success, Alexander Shaganov gained some fame. During the years of perestroika, when many musical groups were falling apart, he met Igor Matvienko. He just started working with Nikolai Rastorguev and created a group for him. I needed a good author of texts. They became Alexander Shaganov. To this day, he fruitfully works with the Lube group and wrote about 100 songs for her. They are all immensely loved by the people - "Atas!", "Combat", "Come on for ...", "There, behind the fogs."
In addition to Lyube, Alexander wrote poetry for many other musicians. Particularly warm was his collaboration with Evgeny Belousov and Dmitry Malikov. The debut song of the young singer Malikov “Until Tomorrow” brought him overwhelming success. For Zhenya was written "Girl-girl", which became his calling card.
When Igor Matvienko began his new project, Ivanushki International, Alexander Shaganov wrote one of the group’s songs, Clouds.
Now he is rightly called the best songwriter of the country and is actively working with new singers - Katya Lel, Danko, Anita Tsoi. His long-standing cooperation with Dima Malikov continues. One of Shaganov’s songs was even performed by Alla Borisovna Pugacheva along with Sergey Chelobanov.
How are poems created?
The poet spends a lot of time in the country. He and his wife bought it after the birth of their daughter. Shaganov says that he is best able to compose poetry in silence and tranquility. He can walk all day and bear the idea of ​​a song in his head, think it over. And closer to the night, when everyone is sleeping, he writes poetry. In the country, where it is always quiet, and most of the material for the songs was written.
Shaganov released two collections of his poems and an autobiographical book, “I Shaganov in Moscow,” in which he spoke quite frankly about himself. The decision to write it was dictated by the thought that someday such a book - the poet's biography - would still be written, but many facts would be presented incorrectly. To exclude the possibility of lying about his life, Alexander decided to tell the whole truth about himself.
Shaganov Alexander: the family of the great poet
Wife Katya and daughter Lisa are the poet’s closest and most beloved people. Katya is an artist, now her works are presented in galleries in Moscow. She also designed her husband’s autobiography.
Daughter Lisa, in addition to a regular school, studies in music. Shaganov affectionately loves his daughter, and in his book a lot of pages are allotted to her.
Next year, poet and songwriter Alexander Shaganov turns 50 years old. And he devoted most of them to his favorite work.
