A recipe for such baked goods can come in handy if you are a fan of fresh crispy pastries for breakfast. And even ready to eat it for lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. By the way, for various types of sandwiches, as well as accompaniment to the first or second courses, a sesame bun will also be good. But its main application, of course, is a hamburger (well, or a cheeseburger with a couple of Chickenburg). So let's try to cook with you.
Sesame buns: the recipe is delicious, but which one to choose?
Of course, many of us are simply sure that tasteless donuts with heat, with heat do not exist in nature. And all the representatives of this culinary family are worthy of attention. But still ... Which of the recipes is considered the best? After all, you can cook on the basis of yeast dough, and you can use yeast-free. In addition, there are some nuances in the ingredients and their proportions. Let's understand the intricacies.
For burgers
Tasty sesame buns have long been loved by everyone as an ingredient for hamburgers, the recipe of which we got from the USA. The obligatory ingredients for this fast food dish are various sauces and seasonings, meat cutlets and, no doubt, round bread products with sesame seeds. Of course, now you can find them on sale in every self-respecting bread department or supermarket, but you see, it’s much more interesting to make a “handmade”: do-it-yourself hamburger base. How to make buns yourself? To do this, we need: a glass of milk, a couple of spoons of sugar, a pinch of salt, a bag of dried yeast, one and a half glasses of warm water (or a little more: how much dough will take), 50 grams of butter, a little vegetable oil, a bag of sesame seeds. And, of course, flour, which you need to take six glasses.
Cooking dough
- In a small bowl with warm water, pour a bag of yeast.
- Bring a glass of milk to a boiling state and turn it off. Pour into a container. We introduce sugar and salt there. And then add the butter, mixing thoroughly.
- As the oil has dissolved, we combine the mixture with a yeast solution, obtained earlier and stood a little. Attention: the general mixture should be warm, not hot, since at higher temperatures, yeast cultures can die, and at low temperatures - not develop, as expected.
- Into the mixture gradually, step by step, we introduce the flour, kneading the dough well. It thickens right before your eyes, and when it becomes difficult to stir with a spoon in a saucepan, you will need to shift it onto a table, sprinkled with flour, and continue to knead with your hands. Tip: you don’t need to put all the flour into the dough right away, the good principle of “how much will it take”, known to our great-grandmothers, works!
- Our dough should become elastic and stop sticking to our hands. Then it can be considered almost ready. Lubricate the semi-finished product with vegetable oil, cover with towels and send to a warm place for about an hour.
Bake
So that each bun with sesame seeds has the same size as the “girlfriends”, we will form equivalent balls from an already risen, increased in size dough. Approximately 18 to 20 pieces are obtained. We spread our billets on the oven pan, sprinkled with flour (as an option - greased with oil). We leave free space so that each future bun with sesame seeds does not come in contact with those around it, since these bakery products tend to significantly increase in size when baking. We cover the blanks with napkins, set aside for an hour in the heat.
Next, grease the balls from the dough with the milk that we have left, sprinkle each with sesame seeds. The baking sheet goes into an oven preheated to two hundred degrees. Bake on average from 15 to 20 minutes. It will be seen when they are lightly browned and removed from the oven. Let’s cool the pastries a bit and you can build burgers.
Unconventional recipe: with honey and milk
But to your attention a delicious and not quite traditional recipe for products with sesame seeds: on milk and honey. We hope she will not leave anyone indifferent. In order to cook such buns with sesame seeds in the oven, we need several additional ingredients: one lemon with zest, half a glass of honey. The remaining components remain unchanged.
Simple cooking!
- My lemon and grate (fine) gently rub the zest.
- In a deep bowl, mix flour with salt plus lemon zest.
- Beat the eggs. We warm the milk slightly.
- Mix the flour and zest with butter. We introduce yeast (previously diluted if dry) and honey plus most of the beaten eggs.
- Gradually add milk, kneading a cool dough.
- Knead the dough for buns until it becomes smooth and elastic. We cover it with napkins or a paper towel and set it in the warm for an hour.
- After an hour, the volume of the test is approximately doubled. It is necessary to knead thoroughly once more, and then from it we form 15-20 balls of equal volumes.
- We grease the baking sheet for ovens with vegetable oil (you can take any, but better - sunflower for frying or olive), put the balls for buns on it and set aside for a quarter of an hour in a warm place.
- We warm the oven well. Our future buns with sesame seeds, baked in the oven, are greased with the remaining beaten eggs and sprinkled with sesame seeds quite generously.
- Bake rolls in the oven for about a quarter of an hour until they are browned.
How to cool ready-made bakery products to immediately cook hamburgers, for example, at a friendly party or picnic? This can be done on an ordinary kitchen grill. Then they can be lightly anointed with butter, if you are going to use as bread for the first and second dishes, and put on a large wide dish. And if we use them as a basis for the preparation of famous American sandwiches, then we cut in half and start with everything that is laid out according to the recipe.
