There is nothing easier than making an omelet. It so happened that this dish is prepared for breakfast, using eggs and milk, adding or not tomatoes or sausage. Today we want to offer omelette and potato recipes that are suitable even for lunch or dinner. If you donβt have much time to cook, or just after a hard day you donβt want to mess around in the kitchen for a long time, then use one of the suggested ideas - the family will definitely like this dish!
Cooked omelet with potatoes in a pan
Who doesn't like fried potatoes? Surely there are no such people, or there are very few of them! But today we offer to cook not just fried potatoes, but an omelet, in which we add several products with which it will become a real culinary masterpiece! Such an alliance will lure the family to the table with a single aroma spreading around the house, and the taste will not leave anyone indifferent!
Will be required for cooking:
- 5 potatoes;
- small onion;
- 5 chicken eggs;
- half a glass of milk;
- two tomatoes;
- 100 grams of smoked sausage;
- fresh greens;
- salt and optionally ground pepper.
The ingredients are prescribed for five servings. If necessary, reduce or add the number of products.
Cooking
To cook an omelet with potatoes, you do not need to be able to cook at all! Everything is so simple that everyone can handle it, but so delicious that it is impossible to come off!
- Peel the potato, grate it on a coarse grater, squeeze it from starch.
- In a pan, heat the sunflower oil, fry the potatoes to a crust, stirring so that it is fluffy and not fried with one pancake!
- Drain the oil, just put the potatoes in the same pan to the side.
- Cut the sausage into strips, fry without adding oil (smoked and so fat) in another pan until a delicious crust is obtained on each piece. You could have skipped this point, but the grilled sausage is still tastier!
- Cut the tomatoes in rounds or cubes - as more convenient.
- Put the sausage in a pan with potatoes, then tomatoes.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with milk and a pinch of salt. Pour the mixture to the rest of the ingredients, cover.
- Fry an omelet with potatoes on low heat until cooked.
Before serving, sprinkle the dish with fresh herbs, pepper a little - if desired.
Omelet with potatoes, cooked in the oven
There is probably nothing easier than cooking in the oven. Dishes from the oven are special, incredibly tasty. At the same time, the hostess is almost free, because she only needs to put the dish in the oven, and then wait for it to cook! Of course, the ingredients need to be prepared.
We offer to cook an omelet with potatoes and cheese. To do this, you will need:
- 3-5 medium sized potatoes;
- 4 chicken eggs;
- half a glass of milk;
- 100-150 grams of hard cheese or cream (depends on the method of preparation, we describe two);
- 100 grams of ham;
- basil and dill;
- bell pepper;
- salt;
- ground allspice.
The number of ingredients for 4-5 people.
Cooking
- To cook an omelet with potatoes according to this recipe, we suggest first boiling the tubers, but not peeling them. Then cool them, remove the skin, cut into circles.
- Cut the sausage into slices, bell pepper in strips or cubes.
- Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil, put potatoes in it, on top - sausage, sprinkle with bell pepper.
Now there are two options for omelet:
- In a bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt and allspice, and add grated hard cheese. Pour the mixture over the rest of the ingredients.
- In a bowl, beat the milk with eggs, salt and pepper. Pour the mixture into a baking sheet on the remaining ingredients. Cut the cream cheese into wide pieces, put on top of the dish.
Bake an omelet with potatoes at 180 degrees for about 15-20 minutes - it depends on the depth of the form.
Stuffed omelet
Want to pamper your family with a delicious and interesting dinner? Then apply this recipe! To eat omelet with potatoes, it is not necessary to cook the ingredients all together, they can be combined even after cooking! In this case, we will do just that.
Required:
- 4 eggs;
- four tablespoons of milk;
- 3-5 potatoes;
- 100 grams of hard cheese;
- 500 grams of chicken;
- a tomato;
- basil leaves and dill;
- salt, a little pepper.
The amount of ingredients is prescribed for four people. If there are more eaters, then add for each an egg and a tablespoon of milk, and the filling can be stretched!
Cooking
To begin with, we offer to prepare everything for the filling, since you will need to wrap it in a hot omelet, otherwise it will fall apart.
- Finely chop the chicken fillet, fry over high heat, salt and pepper, until cooked.
- Peel the potato, boil in salted water until tender. Next, you will need to mash the mashed potatoes.
- Grate the cheese, mix it with mashed potatoes.
- Cut the tomato into circles.
Now we prepare the omelette itself:
- Mix one egg with a spoonful of milk, salt and pepper a little, whisk with a whisk. Pour the mixture into the pan, spread over the entire bottom. Fry on both sides.
- Put the omelet in a plate. On one half put mashed potatoes with cheese, distribute evenly. Put fried chicken, a slice of tomato and greens on top.
- Close the filling with the second half of the omelet. Put the dish in the microwave for a minute so that the cheese in the puree melts.
So do with each egg. We do not recommend mixing all the eggs with milk at once, since then it will be difficult to divide the mixture into equal parts β some will turn out more, another less, and even four may not be enough!
Serve such an omelet in a warm form, the plate can be additionally decorated with fresh vegetables: cucumbers, bell peppers, greens. We recommend putting a spoonful of sour cream on top of the omelet!
