Every housewife loves to please the household with something tasty. Today we will consider a recipe for making brushwood - a special cookie that is very simple to prepare, but at the same time has a unique taste, for which it is one of the favorite treats for both adults and children. And if everything is clear with little gourmets - every child loves sweets, then the following can be said about adults. Adults love delicious brushwood because this bakery reminds them of childhood, carefree life and kind mother, who always tried to pamper her baby with something unusual, but did not want to bother after a hard day's work. The fact is that the recipe for cooking brushwood is very simple, and the products that are necessary for its preparation are available and inexpensive - almost everything that is needed for cookies is in every home.

In addition, knowing how to do brushwood can help if guests suddenly come to the house who want to not only chat, but also have a snack or, in extreme cases, a cup of tea or coffee, biting something sweet. Cooking does not take much time and effort, and this can be seen by reading the recipe for cooking brushwood, described below.

The recipe for brushwood really does not cause difficulties for any housewife, even a young one. The only thing to consider when cooking is the need to thinly roll out the base - the dough, you can’t be lazy here. With a little effort, brushwood always turns out to be tender, crunchy and, of course, very tasty.

The set of ingredients is not as extensive as it might seem, given the unique taste of this kind of cookie. The necessary products are a pair of chicken eggs (a necessary component in each baking); two tablespoons of sour cream (this gives the brushwood tenderness); one teaspoon of sugar (sweetness, where do without it !?); one tablespoon of vodka, cognac or any other strong alcohol (this ingredient is necessary to achieve a crunch); flour in the amount of two tablespoons; two glasses of sunflower oil (preferably refined); salt; as well as icing sugar. Isn't that the standard set that can be found in every kitchen?

The cooking process is as simple and straightforward as the set of necessary products. First you need to beat the eggs with sour cream, add sugar. After this, a pinch of salt is added, as well as vodka or cognac. The latter is simply necessary, without a spoonful of strong alcoholic drink brushwood will never crunch, and this is one of the "highlights" of this dish. Next, flour is added and the process of kneading the dough begins. The consistency of the dough after kneading should resemble the basis of dumplings.

The dough is rolled into thin cakes, the thickness of which is about 1 mm, and the size does not exceed the size of the palm. Pellets are cut into vertical strips, while the edges are not cut. Further, the resulting strips need to be mixed up, as it were.

It was the turn of oil - it must be heated. The readiness of the oil can be judged by throwing a small piece of dough into it. After the oil is heated sufficiently strongly, you can lower the future brushwood into it. The delicacy is fried until it gains a golden color. If there is such a need, brushwood is turned over.

After the brushwood is fried and turned golden, it must be removed from the oil, put in a colander, or use a paper towel - this makes it possible to get rid of excess oil, which inevitably remains on the finished dough.

Ready brushwood should be generously sprinkled with powdered sugar - this will not only make it sweet, but also give an appetizing appearance.
