From school years, Raikin was fond of theatrical art, played in a drama club and dreamed of becoming an actor. After school, he entered the Leningrad Academy of Performing Arts. He began his studies in the workshop of Kozintsev, later switched to the course of V. N. Solovyov, an associate of Meyerhold. In addition to studying at the academy, Arkady Isakovich took mime lessons in private. Raikin lived a long creative life. His son Konstantin Raikin also became an actor and successfully continues the work of his father.

Born in Tiflis, in a family of circus artists, from childhood participated in performances. In 1953, Brunov arrived in Moscow and tried to enter the Moscow Concert.
