Lyudmila Gorbacheva was born on August 1, 1930 in the Mitrofanov family. The childhood passed in severe conditions of the Second World War. She was able to survive the terrible time and carried her dream of becoming an actress through the war.
A girl from an early age was distinguished by talent. She read poetry beautifully and had a good memory. Lyudmila could easily remember passages from her favorite works and told them to adults and friends.
Despite the difficult post-war time, the actress went to study at the Sverdlovsk Theater Institute. Unfortunately for the girls, the institution was able to survive for one year, then it was disbanded.
The girl had to leave for Leningrad. There she continued her studies and graduated from the same institute in 1952.
Student years
In Leningrad, Lyudmila Gorbacheva was very lucky with the teachers. She completed the course of Evgenia Konstantinovna Lepkovskaya. And the first teacher was Evgeny Agurov in Sverdlovsk. This famous actor put all his knowledge and skills into a promising, in his opinion, actress. From the first lessons he saw the talent of Lyudmila.
The girl was very responsible for her studies. She perfectly knew the theoretical part. In practice, she tried to fully reveal her talent and to show teachers that she has a theatrical future. She attended a large number of performances and borrowed experience from famous actors. Sometimes the last money went on tickets, which she did not regret for a second.
At the university, actress Lyudmila Gorbacheva met her future husband Igor Gorbachev. In the 4th year they got married.
Acting
In the graduation performance, Lyudmila played in How Steel Was Tempered. She got the role of Tony. During the first performance, the directors drew attention to the girl.
From 1952 to 1954 she worked in the Bolshoi Theater. M. Gorky. Here she was given the roles of young heroines, and she coped with them perfectly. The most memorable in those days was the play with her participation, "When the Spears Break." In it, Lyudmila Gorbacheva played Zoya.
In 1954, the girl went to work in the theater. Pushkin in Leningrad. There, her first role was Princess Mstislavskaya in the play "Tsar Fedor Ivanovich." For a young girl, this work was a difficult test. She was introduced into the finished play in the place of another actress who was seriously ill.
Then the roles fell one by one. Over time, Lyudmila gained experience and began to play confident and adult women:
- Miss Forsyth in The Death of a Salesman;
- Margarita in "Much Ado About Nothing";
- Ottilia in "Before Sunset";
- Ines Herero at the "Airport", etc.
In general, during her work, the actress played more than 60 roles. She worked in the theater until the age of 70. Her last roles were Agrofena Kondratyevna ("Our people - let's count!") And Freylina ("The Tale of Tsar Saltan").
During her career, a woman played only three roles in the movie. She loved working in the theater more. The film with her participation “If You Leave” became memorable. It was released in 1977. In 1980 she received the title of Honored Artist.
Personal life
Actress Lyudmila Gorbacheva (photo can be seen in the article) lived a decent life with her husband Igor Gorbachev. The couple have been happy together for almost 50 years. In acting circles, everyone was amazed and envied of their prosperous life.
Friends note that almost never the actors did not swear among themselves. They set an example to those surrounding the correct building of relationships in family life. They skillfully combined their work and home. We tried to spend every free minute together. Parenting was not transferred to the shoulders of grandparents, like many acting couples.
The family raised beautiful and worthy sons. They were accustomed from childhood to respect for elders and work. Father taught his sons to be real men from childhood. The guys respected and appreciated the work of their parents.
Igor Gorbachev passed away 7 years earlier than his wife. She was very worried about the loss of her closest person and cherished the memory of him.
