Uncle and nephew walk through the Arabian desert, but this is not an easy walk. They have a clear goal - to bury a damned box in a remote place. After the mission has been completed, the uncle kills his nephew and shoots himself in the head. No one should know exactly where the damned casket is.
More than a hundred years have passed. The young owner of a quest popular with young people called Psychosis is not going through the best of times. Two years ago, his game was recognized as the best, but since then much has changed in his life. The wife left him, and gradually he simply began to drown in debt. Now he is launching the next season of games, and to update the premises he needs entourage. After him, he comes to a small shop selling original gizmos. The box attracts his attention, but the hostess flatly refuses to sell this item. Inside it is an ancient demon. If the box is opened, he will get out and begin to bring death to all living things. Bryce picks up the thing when the hostess is distracted, and leaves money on the counter.
Angie, Ben, Jeff and Jess gather at the appointed time and come to tickle their nerves with the help of the quest. Bryce explains the rules to the guys: the signals from the phones will not work in the room, there is no Internet, and it is completely isolated. They have 55 minutes to solve all the clues and get out. His assistant Molly at this time is cursing with actor ArJ, who should already take his place, but still stands smoking weed in the back room. The guys are intensely searching for clues, and Jeff manages to open a box with scissors near the maniac's legs. There is a pen in it, but he does not have time to rejoice: the killer inflicts several fatal blows on him. Three guys crouch in horror at the door, forgetting that the room is isolated and the sounds do not go beyond it. Angie hears the call of her lover and goes to his body. The maniac kills her, and Ben and Jess are left alone. The camera stopped working, and Bryce does not see all these horrors. He struggles with the desire to open players, but is afraid to spoil their quest and lose money.
Time goes by, and the demon is getting closer to the remaining players. In a panic, they try to solve the last puzzles. Ben decides to try to kill the maniac, but gets seriously injured and lies unconscious in the corner of the room. At this time, Bryce still decides to open the door, but receives a severe blow and flies out into the corridor. Jess has less than a minute. She manages to solve the last puzzle and jumps out into the corridor when the killer’s hand is already reaching for her. The police arrived in time to shoot the maniac, but the demon had already managed to move to Bryce. Surviving children are taken to the ambulance, and the owner of the premises disappears. After a while, Molly returns the box to the shop and finds out that Bryce is already impossible to find. But there is a chance - the demon saw her face, which means that sooner or later he will come for her.
