David Palffy is a Canadian film and television actor who most viewers know for his role as Socar in the stellar series Stargate SG-1. The actor also appeared in the popular TV series The X-Files and Andromeda. TV career
David Palffer's television career began in 1987 with a small role in the detective "Jump Street 21". This was followed by the role of Fred Marr in the mystical series Friday, the 13th. Despite the name, the series had nothing to do with the classic horror series of the same name and did not gain much popularity.
In 1993, David played a cameo in the legendary X-Files.
In 1998, the actor received the role of Dr. LaBlanca in the TV series "The New Addams Family." The series was not as successful as the original.
