About 5-10% of the absorbed product is excreted by the kidneys.

Dosage regimen
The medicine is taken orally with a small volume of liquid. The Vermox tablet for children is allowed to be dissolved in water and given in the form of a suspension. With enterobiosis, patients from ten years old are prescribed 100 mg once, from two to five years - 25-50 mg also once. With an increased likelihood of recurrence of infection, therapy is repeated again after two to four weeks in the same dose. Treatment should be prescribed to all family members. Dosage for mixed invasions, strongyloidosis, teniosis, hookworm infection, trichocephalosis and ascariasis - one hundred milligrams per day for three days. Treatment of echinococcosis with Vermox (doctors confirm this) should be carried out according to the following scheme: from the first to the third day, 500 mg is prescribed twice a day, in the next three days the number of doses is increased up to three times.
