With the onset of spring, we began to make tea more often in our garden gazebo. Therefore, every day I have to wonder what is delicious to bake for tea? The answer prompted itself when I found a forgotten prune in the closet. So today there will be a prune pie for tea. And I will share recipes, there are several of them, because I really like to experiment.
Recipe 1. Chic pie with prunes on a yeast dough. There is plenty of time, so we will prepare yeast dough on a dough. So, for the test we need 600 grams of wheat flour, 1 cup of warm water, 2 eggs, a pack of butter or margarine, 200 grams of dried or pressed yeast, salt and a little sugar. You donβt need to put a lot of sugar in the dough, because we will have a sweet filling. Beat eggs with salt and sugar, add softened butter or margarine, put yeast, mix. Add a glass of flour, mix again and leave for an hour to make the dough a little ferment. This is the couple. Then we introduce the rest of the flour in small portions, knead the dough and put it in a warm place so that the dough rises.
While the dough rises, let's get into the filling. We need 500 grams of prunes (seedless), half a glass of any jam syrup (I had cherry), Β½ lemon, and powdered sugar. My prunes, pass through a meat grinder along with half a lemon. Pour the syrup into the rolled prunes, mix everything. The filling is ready.
When the dough rises, divide it into two parts so that one part is slightly larger. Roll them into a layer, lay a large layer in a greased form. Spread the prune filling evenly on top. Cover with a second layer, collect the edges and pinch beautifully. Remember to leave a small hole in the center of the cake. Bake in a preheated oven. I sprinkle the finished cake with icing sugar and serve with tea. That's all, the prune pie is ready for tea!
Recipe 2. This recipe is perfect for those who do not want to mess around with yeast dough and toppings for a long time. So, I offer a cake with prunes and nuts. We need: 4 eggs, 500 grams of flour, a pack of butter, 50 grams of cocoa, 200 grams of sugar, 50 grams of chocolate, 200 grams of pitted prunes, 50 grams of walnuts. We combine the egg and sugar, add the softened butter and grind to a homogeneous mass. Then the washed prunes are cut into strips, chop the nuts a little and combine with butter and eggs. Add cocoa, grated chocolate and gradually adding flour, knead thick dough. Then I spread it in a form, bake until tender. I check with a toothpick or a match, if there are pieces of dough on the match, I add some heat. It turns out a delicious chocolate cake with prunes.
Recipe 3. Very tasty is an open pie with prunes and cottage cheese. The dough is very easy to prepare. For it, we need 300 grams of flour, 100 grams of butter (150 grams can be) and a couple of spoons of cold water. We connect everything, knead.
For the filling, we need 1 pack of fat cottage cheese, 200 grams of pitted prunes, vanilla sugar, ordinary granulated sugar - 100 grams, 2 eggs. We washed the washed prunes in half. Grind cottage cheese, sugar and eggs until smooth, add vanillin. The filling is ready.
Roll out the dough into a layer, lay in a form so that the sides remain. From above we evenly distribute prunes and cover with curd mass. Bake in the oven until golden brown. When the cake is ready, cool it, because it is customary to eat cottage cheese cakes cold, otherwise it will seem to you as if it had not been baked.
The prune pie, the first recipe of which we reviewed, turned out to be the best for me, although it took a lot of time to prepare it. And so, all recipes are good!
