Any innovative offer is met with caution by buyers. So it was with automatic washing machines, microwave ovens, etc. But the fact remains - convenient! And this is the main thing that bothers us regarding any device for the home.
Crock-pots have entered our homes relatively recently.
They fell in love with themselves, if not all, then almost everyone. Some, it is worth saying, did not appreciate the advantages of this device, but, it seems, awareness and recognition will come a little later, with experience, for example.
In this article we will talk about how to cook everyone’s favorite meatballs in the Polaris multicooker, for example.
So, in order to cook this dish, you can use two modes: "Frying" and "Steamer". There is a possibility that depending on the model, the modes may change. In addition, many craftsmen are able to cook delicious delicacies even in completely unpredictable conditions, for example, in the “Soup” or “Crust” mode. We will only talk about how to cook meatballs in the Polaris multicooker in the usual ways.
Method One, Steam
Everything is simple. It is necessary to put cutlets in the basket attached to the unit, set the appropriate mode and the necessary time. We will offer recipes a little later, but now we’ll talk about how you can use this mode yet.
All of you perfectly understand that the “Steamer” function works very simply: water boils for a given time, products are cooked. Why not use this? All that is required of you is to choose the appropriate cooking time for the side dish. That is, if you cook meatballs in the Polaris multicooker, then it will take 20 minutes to cook them. During this time, pasta, for example, will turn into jelly, but buckwheat will be delicious, like rice, by the way. You can put the potatoes, its cooking time is also 20 minutes.
When the dish is ready, you can sprinkle it with dried dill and add a small piece of butter. It will be very tasty. Some experts recommend cooking steam cutlets in the Polaris multicooker in the Rice mode, also combining this process with cooking the side dish.
Fish cakes
The easiest way is to remove the fillet from pink salmon, chum, cod or limonella. Our advice is this: do not twist the meat, but chop it with a knife. So the cutlets will become much juicier. To small pieces, you need to add an egg, salt and pepper, finely chopped onions. The forcemeat will turn out to be somewhat liquid, it will be difficult to form portions from it, so we suggest replacing the bun soaked in milk with breadcrumbs. Add them in several stages, making sure that the stuffing is not too thick, but also not liquid. Let the minced meat stand for a bit (5-10 minutes), and then begin to form the patties.
In the Polaris multicooker, the countdown time starts from the moment the water boils. That network as a whole, the period for cooking steam cutlets will increase by about half compared with what you set on the display. To prepare fish cakes, it takes no more than fifteen minutes from the moment of boiling. You can set lower values if you sculpted small and almost flat cutlets.
Chicken Cutlets
Pass half a kilo of chicken meat through a meat grinder. Take both lean breasts and fat thighs. Add a large onion, also scrolled through a meat grinder, and a little bread crumb soaked in milk. Add spices and salt, egg to the mixture. Give all this a little "rest", and then sculpt the patties.
Frying
The difference in cooking processes is cardinal. Turn on the "Frying" mode, pour a lot of vegetable oil, let it warm up well (5-7 minutes). Then lower the portions of minced meat. Fry on both sides until golden brown and remove from oil. Cutlets are not yet ready, they need to be cooked on low heat for ten minutes at least, if we are talking about classic cutlets of pork and beef. To do this, they can be sent to warm up in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees, put out in a frying pan over very low heat or sent back to the unit, which must be freed from oil.
Fried meatballs in the Polaris multicooker may be less high-calorie if you just fry them on both sides on a slightly oiled surface. The choice is yours!
