Diseases of the cardiovascular system are familiar to many people today. Many take cardiac drugs. One of the drugs that helps with angina pectoris, heart rhythm disturbance, chronic fatigue syndrome is "Sodium Adenosine Triphosphate" ("Darnitsa"). The drug is produced by a Ukrainian company, but is widely used in many countries.
Drug characterization
"Sodium adenosine triphosphate" ("Darnitsa") is a cardiological preparation, which includes the disodium salt of adenosine-5-triphosphoric acid. As additional components, the composition of the medication includes water for injection and sodium hydroxide.
The medicine is presented in the form of a solution for injection, placed in ampoules of one milliliter. One package contains ten ampoules.
According to the instructions, "Sodium Adenosine Triphosphate" ("Darnitsa") is used in such situations:
- Hyperuricemia of various etiologies.
- Vegetative disorders.
- Supraventricular tachycardia.
- Unstable angina pectoris.
- Chronic fatigue syndrome.
- Cardiosclerosis
- Coronary heart disease.
- Before and after surgery.
- Myocardial dystrophy.
- Raynaud's disease.
- Thromboangiitis.
- Retinal pigment degeneration.
How does the medication work?
“Sodium adenosine triphosphate” (“Darnitsa”) is an anti-ischemic, arrhythmic and membrane stabilizing agent. The medicine contributes to the normalization of metabolic processes in the heart muscle, especially with insufficient blood supply. Also, the drug increases the activity of ion transport systems in cell membranes, normalizes energy metabolism, the concentration of magnesium and potassium ions, protects the heart muscle from negative effects, lowers the level of uric acid in the body.
Also, the drug helps to relax smooth muscles, facilitates the transmission of signals in cholinergic nodes, as well as excitations from the vagus nerve in the heart, and dilates the brain and coronary vessels.
After administration, the drug enters the cells of the organs, where it enters into communication with the protein actimiosin, energy is released, which is used by the muscles to perform various tasks. The effect of the drug occurs forty seconds after administration. The medication lowers blood pressure, increases myocardial contractility.
"Sodium adenosine triphosphate" ("Darnitsa"): instructions for use
The medicine is administered intravenously or intramuscularly. In case of circulatory disorder, one ampoule is administered for three days once a day, then one ampoule twice a day or two ampoules once a day. The duration of therapy is one month. After two months, the course of therapy can be repeated again.
During retinal degeneration, “Sodium Adenosine Triphosphate” (“Darnitsa”) is administered intramuscularly, five ampoules twice a day, the interval between injections should be from six to eight hours. The course of treatment is two weeks. After a year, the course of therapy can be repeated.
To eliminate tachycardia, the drug is administered one or two ampoules for ten seconds. If necessary, you can re-enter the drug after three minutes. Usually the effect occurs after thirty or forty seconds.
Contraindications
"Sodium adenosine triphosphate" ("Darnitsa") has some limitations in use:

In such cases, treatment is carried out using cardiotonic drugs.
additional information
“Sodium adenosine triphosphate” (“Darnitsa”) is administered in a hospital setting, since control over the functionality of the heart is required. After drug administration, blood pressure is measured. During therapy, it is not recommended to drink coffee and strong black tea, as well as caffeinated preparations. You also need to refrain from driving cars and other mechanisms.
Store the drug in a cool, dark place with an air temperature of two to eight degrees Celsius. Shelf life is one year. The medicine is dispensed only by prescription. Its cost is about two hundred and fifty rubles.
