Having bought an invented recipe of chocolate from Lindt, Rudolf Sprungli achieved the merger of the two companies. So, in 1899, a new chocolate brand Lindt & Sprungli appeared in the world. In the same year, they acquired a plot of land in Kilsberg, which contributed to the expansion of the factory. Lindtโs offices are still located in this building. Production volumes grew so much that already in 1915, products were exported to 20 countries. Even in the difficult post-war years, the company opened three new factories - in Germany, France and Italy.
