Vincenzo Natalie was born in Detroit, Michigan, in the family of a photographer and kindergarten teacher. Vincenzo has Italian and English roots. His family moved to Toronto when the boy was only one year old.
As a child, Natalie made friends with the British-Canadian actor David Hewlett, who later starred in most of Natalie's films. Natalie also participated in a film program at Ryerson University. He was eventually hired as a storyboard artist at Nelvana Animation Studio.

Debut
Natalie’s directorial debut took place in 1997, when he directed the movie Cube. The film was a success worldwide, especially in Japan and France. He raised $ 15 million in France and made a lot of money in Canada. At the 19 Genie Awards, the film received five nominations and became the best Canadian film at the Toronto International Film Festival. Further career
