He is a legend of domestic rock. In the days of the Soviet Union, his songs were banned because of their content, and today he should completely hide and live away from his homeland. His concerts are canceled, and a political race is organized behind the man himself. He is not fond of politicians, journalists and paparazzi. But he is a favorite of the public, people worship him, and more than one generation of people listens to his compositions. And all this he is Andrei Makarevich, whose nationality raises many questions.
Childhood
Andrei Vadimovich Makarevich was born on December 11, 1953, in a communal apartment located on Volkhonka. His father - Vadim Makarevich - was a Belarusian by birth and an architect at the call of the heart. And her mother, Nina Shmuylovich, is Jewish by nationality and TB specialist, doctor of medical sciences by profession. Therefore, Andrei Makarevich, whose nationality is difficult to designate by any one nationality, is relevant both to the Bulbash and to the Jews.
Based on what gifted personalities the parents of little Andryusha were, we can conclude that the boy himself grew up as a rather brilliant child. While attending kindergarten, the child learned to read, and therefore he began to go to school one year earlier than his peers. Thanks to his dad, he did a lot of drawing, and his mother’s influence made him not much less to devote time to music. So, Makarevich (nationality is indicated above) already from childhood felt a craving for art and all that is beautiful. Although, in order not to dissemble, it should be mentioned that Andrei loved music, but it was not easy for him to study it. Already at the age of seven, he became a student of a music school, but nothing good came of this venture: a musical notation did not fit in his head, and solfeggio, which lasted several hours in a row, generally drove the student crazy. And it was not easy to deduce, but brought the child to neurasthenia. Therefore, after two years, parents had the opportunity to pick up a future star from this institution.
The appearance of rock in the life of a young talent
Andrei did not succeed with the classics. But the heavy rhythms and melodies of Andrey Makarevich, whose nationality is Jewish by mother, Belarusian by father, was received with a bang. Due to his work, Vadim Makarevich often went on business trips abroad. From there he brought recordings of Western banned musicians. They were mostly rockers. And then the young Andryusha was imbued to the ends of her hair with the so-called aesthetics of freedom. According to Makarevich Jr. himself, while studying in the seventh grade, he began to write poetry with his classmates. These were poems of a mocking character on the ideology of the Soviet Union and the poetry of China. Notebooks with such masterpieces passed through the hands of the whole class. And Andrey learned to play the guitar, knowing only three chords.
The Beatles Arrival
But Makarevich (nationality, biography described in our article) got carried away with real music and songwriting when he was in eighth grade. And again, everything happened thanks to my father. From one of his business trips, Vadim Makarevich brought a record of the Beatles group. Andryusha returned from school just at the moment when the parent was rewriting the songs on a small tape recorder. Andrei Makarevich says that from this moment there was a change in his musical consciousness. He says that before the legendary band appeared in his life, he seemed to have heard nothing. He listened to the Beatles all day long, and when his parents drove him to the balcony, since they could no longer take out this music, he turned on the tape recorder at full volume so that the whole district could enjoy amazing sounds.
The first musical collective of Makarevich
Not only Makarevich Andrey Vadimovich (whose nationality is already known to us) went crazy from the four from Liverpool. Her work was carried away by all the friends and close friends of the guy. Andryukha studied at a specialized school with an English bias, so he and his classmates easily translated and re-wrote the legendary Beatles. In 1968, Andrei created his first own four. It consisted of two boys and as many girls. But in 1969, it was decided to re-qualify the group into an exclusively male collective. Therefore, the girls were asked to leave, and two guys were invited to their places.
First, the ensemble was called The Kids, and then it was renamed “Time Machine”. It is the car, not the car. So Makarevich, whose nationality is no longer in doubt, began climbing his stellar, albeit banned Olympus.
The personal life of the artist
The musician’s career developed rapidly: constant touring, rehearsing, moving. Perhaps because of this way of life, he never managed to find the one and only beloved woman. As Makarevich himself says, whose nationality is ambiguous, for his 60 years he knew many beautiful ladies. But true love never met. His first wife was Elena Fesunenko: he started a family in 1976, but this marriage lasted only three years. Then there was a lady in his being named Alla, who gave the rocker his son Ivan. But this union lived as long as the previous one. The leader of the “Time Machine” has two more daughters from different women.
