Over the years, the creators of the project have developed a full-fledged and very extensive movie universe, which is devoted to entire sites and dozens of different resources. The series has its own unique bestiary, and in this article we will consider one class of creatures that are repeatedly met by brothers in several seasons of the “Supernatural” - rafts.
Monster Characteristics
So, the supernatural reef is a monster created by Eve herself, feeding on the human brain. This food attracts reefs with an abundance of dopamine, adrenaline and other hormones, which for monsters are considered a delicacy. Most often, these creatures are found in psychiatric clinics. This is very convenient, since few people believe a mentally ill person who claims to have met a monster. Rafe is cunning enough to eat quietly and not attract attention. As a result, their victims are most often recognized as suicides. At first glance, monsters cannot be distinguished from ordinary people, but their true essence can be seen in the mirror. Since Supernatural reefs are similar to other monster clans such as vampires and werewolves, it can be assumed that there is an alpha reef. However, most likely, he was destroyed by Crowley during his hunt for alpha.
Strengths and weaknesses of rafts
A typical reef is characterized by 5 superpowers:
- extraordinary power (a creature is many times stronger than a person, so even a female raff can easily defeat an adult man);
- regeneration (wounds disappear in just a few hours, it takes half a day to recover serious injuries);
- psychosis (can cause people with mental disorders and obsessive visions);
- super speed (several times faster than an ordinary person);
- invulnerability (it is impossible to shoot a reef with an ordinary bullet, even with a shot in the heart).
There are also 5 weaknesses in the reef, they are the only ways to kill these monsters:
- decapitation (100% option for almost any monster);
- silver (with a silver bullet you can injure a reef, a blow with a silver knife in the heart guarantees the death of a monster);
- mirrors (they reflect the true essence of the reef);
- psychics (they see the aura of a monster and can easily figure it out);
- damaged spike (not fatal, but can cause pain shock).
Supernatural Rafe
In the series, the Winchester brothers will repeatedly have to confront these insidious monsters. For the first time, they face raises in episode 11 of season 5, titled "Sam, Interrupted Life." Then the monster appears in season 9 and 13. By the way, in the last season of “Supernatural” monsters are expected even more, and the brothers have to make much more efforts to confront them. The Winchesters come to the aid of the already familiar Castiel and the witch Rowanna, the Nephilim Jack and the Billy reaper. Demons with angels will not stand aside: Lucifer, Michael, Asmodeus and Bartamus will please us with their presence and incredible confrontation.
