The Fall of Olympus (2013)

During the attack on the presidential motorcade, he was able to save only one person, and he turned out to be the president. The first lady died. After the incident, Benning was transferred to ordinary clerical work.
After a year and a half, the country's leader and vice president are held hostage by South Korean terrorists. The former security guard, who knows the White House security system perfectly, volunteers to get inside the building and save the president and his young son.
“The Storm of the White House” (2014)
This thriller action movie is often confused with the previous picture due to the similarity of the plot and the scene.
Policeman John Cale wants to get into the personal guard of the US president and goes for an interview. At the same time, he takes Emily's daughter with him on an excursion to the White House. The same day the terrorists chose to seize the president. Cale manages to neutralize one of them and save the life of the head of state. Now his task is to remove the president and his daughter from the building seized by the terrorists.
Thriller-action fantasy "Oblivion" (2013)
60 years ago, after an attack on the Earth by aliens, it became unsuitable for life. The enemy destroyed the moon, which led to devastating consequences - terrible cataclysms. People won by using atomic weapons, but then were forced to move to Titan, the satellite of Saturn.
Only the technician and liaison officer remained on Earth, whose duties include the supervision of platforms for collecting sea water. The remnants of enemies scattered around the planet periodically attack them, and the technician must repair the drones guarding the platforms. Two weeks are left before the observers leave for Titan, when strange events begin to occur. Technician Jack Harper increasingly sees a stranger in a dream, and once before his eyes a spaceship of earthlings falls to Earth. He manages to save only one crew member, and this turns out to be a girl from his dreams.
The Edge of the Future (2014)
This fantastic thriller action movie with Tom Cruise in the title role talks about the battle of mankind with alien creatures that attacked it. Most of Europe was lost, and the armies of the strongest states united. Exoskeletons were created, thanks to which people managed to win the battle of Verdun.
William Cage, spokesman for the US Army, refuses to take part in the upcoming battle in Normandy. Demoted for this to the rank and file, he finds himself on the front line, where he immediately dies from the clutches of an unusual facial expression. In the same second, he is again at the base, at the moment when he was brought. And every time after another death, he returns again that day. Cage understands that what happens to him can help defeat the enemy.
The Snitch (2012)
Action thriller crime - this type of action-packed films includes the picture of Rick Roman Waugh "The Snitch", the main role in which was played by Dwayne Johnson. He played the father of a guy who faces a 10-year prison term. Johnson’s hero makes a deal with the police - helping her reach large drug dealers. There are no large-scale scenes of confrontation in the film, and it is more likely a criminal drama. The film is interesting because Dwayne Johnson revealed himself as a talented dramatic actor. For the first time on the screen, he does not demonstrate his biceps and does not deal easily with enemies. He convincingly played an ordinary father, who is frightened when he sees a weapon aimed at him, but goes to great lengths to save an innocent son.
Pulp Fiction (1994)
This action movie crime thriller Quentin Tarantino has already become a classic and is included in the list of best films of the XX century. The plot of the picture is familiar to all lovers of action tapes - two mafiosi, Vincent and Jules, carry out the instructions of their boss.
In parallel, they become participants in three stories. In the USA, the film was included in the National Register of Films as having cultural and aesthetic significance.
Indiana Jones Series (1981-2008)
Action thriller adventure is a genre whose bright representative is a series of paintings about a famous archaeologist who constantly finds himself in the most incredible situations. The director of all four paintings is George Lucas. The first film, “Indiana Jones: Finding the Lost Ark,” was released in 1981, the last in 2008. Lucas planned to make only five films about the adventures of an archaeologist and his struggle against numerous enemies who want to use ancient artifacts for personal purposes. But shooting the final part of the series is all postponed. According to the director, he has no ideas for a new script yet.
The prototype of the protagonist immediately became six historical figures. And the stories themselves told in the pictures are not completely fiction. The search for the Holy Grail and the ark was carried out by special units of Nazi Germany. Crystal skulls, one of which is mentioned in the latest film about the adventures of Indiana Jones, do exist. There are 13 in total in the world, but the authenticity of these artifacts is in doubt.
Towards the Storm (2014)
This thriller action movie sends the viewer to the very center of the raging and deadly elements. The small town of Silverston was almost destroyed by the invasion of several tornadoes. As it turned out, this is not the end - an even more powerful tornado is approaching.
And only a group of researchers does not hide in shelter, but goes towards the elements to unravel the mystery of the birth of giant tornadoes. Although critics rated the film poorly, the audience liked the magnificent special effects and the dynamic, energetic plot.
The Fugitive (1993)
This is an exciting thriller action movie in which the main role was played by Harrison Ford. His hero, the famous surgeon Richard Kimble, is sentenced to death for the murder of his wife, which he did not commit. During the transportation of the prisoners, one of them arranges an escape, and Kimble uses the general turmoil to escape and start his own investigation. The film received many awards, including the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. This honor was awarded to actor Tommy Lee Jones.
The Sixth Sense (1999)
The picture with Bruce Willis as the main character is a thriller-thriller detective. From ordinary detective films, he is distinguished by a sense of anxiety from what is happening on the screen, which is gradually increasing. The Sixth Sense tells the story of a child psychiatrist, Malcolm Crowe. Once he was wounded by his patient, but did not leave his job. His next patient is the nine-year-old Cole.
Crow sees that the boy is terribly scared, and tries to help him, not yet knowing how it will end. The film has been awarded many prestigious awards.
Action thriller detective "Air Marshal" (2014)
One of the last brilliant works of actor Liam Neeson. He plays an air marshal, a person who is incognito aboard an airplane and protects passengers.
Neeson's hero begins to receive messages stating that every 20 minutes, terrorists will kill one passenger until they receive a huge amount of money. Air Marshal begins investigations.
The genre "action thriller", capable of keeping in suspense until the denouement of history, will always be in demand by the viewer. The number of excellent paintings already created is amazing, and every year there are more and more of them.
