Shoulder joint - a vulnerable part of the musculoskeletal system

Everyone knows that with age, the body wears out. Various diseases of the musculoskeletal system develop. A sedentary lifestyle also contributes to this. One of the most vulnerable nodes in the body in this case is the shoulder joint. Arthrosis, arthritis - such diagnoses often have to be made to doctors in a hospital. In fact, diseases such as osteochondrosis of the shoulder joint are caused by a lack of blood supply, tissue degradation and the appearance of salt deposits. You can suffer with this disease for a long time. Suffering shoulder joint is a chronic phenomenon. And such a disease can be called insidious.

The same osteochondrosis develops very slowly. Because of this, a person at first may not pay attention to him.

What about the symptoms of shoulder disease? Of course, a person is faced with pain. Under loads, it is significantly enhanced, there is a crunch in the shoulder joint. The area in the affected area swells and turns red.

Living with such a disease is not easy. Firstly, many note the disability of a person who suffers from developing arthrosis or osteochondrosis. As a rule, these diseases affect the older age group, the quality of life of which is particularly affected. Moreover, women suffer from diseases of the musculoskeletal system much more often than men.

Such a disease that affects the shoulder joint as arthrosis, according to scientists, also has a genetic cause.

It was proved that in people whose parents suffered from this disease, bones and cartilage are generally not particularly resistant to physical exertion.

How to treat a shoulder joint? Science has not achieved much progress in this regard.

These diseases are treated with conservative methods. Initially, doctors are trying to eliminate the pain syndrome without surgical intervention, but in advanced cases only such treatment methods are used. In particular, joint replacement is considered the most effective of all. In addition, physiotherapy procedures are carried out (massage, electrophoresis, acupuncture and magnetotherapy). Of course, all this is done according to the doctor’s instructions, according to a special scheme, and is never prescribed during an exacerbation of the disease.

Of course, in addition to visiting the doctor, you need to be treated on your own and not start the disease. It is necessary to do exercises that will have a beneficial effect on the shoulder.

Of course, they need to be gentle, but they should be performed regularly, gradually increasing the load. The amplitude should be minimal, and the movements themselves should not be very frequent. Muscles should be relaxed, and pain should not be observed. Kneading exercises should not be done for long - no more than ten minutes, but daily and several times. The position of the shoulder must be monitored. This can be achieved by relaxing as much as possible, and controlling it in the necessary position, until a stable habit is formed. If your shoulder joint is sick, then, of course, you do not need to overload it in any way. Do not take painkillers in order to do a few extra exercises - this is just a way to earn further complications. Choosing exercises should be those that will not heavily load the diseased joint, which will need to be performed not standing, but sitting or lying down. If the exercise causes any pain in the shoulder joint, you should immediately stop it.

If you first encountered problems associated with the shoulder joint, then the best option for you would be going to the hospital. Only by contacting a highly qualified specialist can you determine what kind of disease you have and how it can be cured as quickly as possible.
