Cooking a delicious cake with dried apricots

Chocolate cake

To prepare the dessert, we need the following ingredients:

  • wheat flour - 100 g;
  • Cocoa - 200 g;
  • chicken eggs - 5 pcs;
  • granulated sugar - 350 g;
  • baking powder;
  • cream - 450 ml;
  • vegetable oil - 4 tbsp. l .;
  • salt;
  • dried apricots - 300 g;
  • cream cheese - 150 g;
  • icing sugar - 100 g;
  • dark chocolate - 50 g;
  • water - 350 ml;
  • almond liquor - 3 tbsp. l .;
  • butter - 110 g;
  • gelatin powder - 2 tbsp. l

Now proceed to the biscuit:

  1. First of all, we break the eggs and separate the yolks. We spread them in a separate container, add sugar and hot water, whisking the mixture until a thick mass is formed.
  2. Pour the flour, add cocoa. Mix and sift into a bowl with yolks.
  3. Add vegetable oil and mix everything very carefully.
  4. Do not forget about the squirrels. Add a little salt to them and beat until fluffy. It is important that the squirrels do not settle.
  5. We spread the dough in a special form.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the dough for about 45 minutes. The readiness of the biscuit can be checked with a wooden torch.
  7. We take out the biscuit and let it cool. It would be nice to let the biscuit brew for 6 hours, but this is not necessary.

Let's take dried apricots:

  • We wash the dried apricots well, fill with water and boil for about 15 minutes. Dried apricots should become soft. Then with the help of a blender we turn it into mashed potatoes.

  • Cooking syrup. Mix sugar with water, boil. After pour in the liquor and let cool.
  • We mix the cream with icing sugar, beat until thick, then add the cream cheese and whip again - the cream for the cake is ready.

Cut the biscuit into several shortcakes. Soak each of them with syrup. On each cake lay out the filling of dried apricots. Pour cream on top, which is sprinkled with grated chocolate. We spread the cake on top of each other and put it away for a couple of hours in the refrigerator.

  1. Pour gelatin with water.
  2. Melt the butter, add cocoa, sugar and cream.
  3. The resulting mixture is heated on fire. Sugar should be completely dissolved.
  4. Heat the gelatin and put into the icing.

We cover the cake with dried apricots obtained glaze. The sides should be sprinkled with biscuit crumbs. The top can be decorated as desired. You can make a cake without sugar, the rest of the ingredients will still add a sweetish flavor.

Prune cake

To prepare the cake, prepare the following ingredients:

  • margarine - 135 g;
  • eggs - 2 pcs;
  • condensed milk - 120 g;
  • sugar - 0.5 kg;
  • Cocoa - 60 g;
  • flour - 250 g;
  • acetic acid - 15 ml;
  • baking soda - 50 g;
  • sour cream - 500 g;
  • prunes - a small handful;
  • dried apricots - a small handful;
  • dark chocolate - 200 g.

Cooking a cake like this:

  1. We wash dried fruits and fill with water.
  2. Melt margarine in a pan, then cool and pour into a deep container. Add the condensed milk. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Mix flour with acetic acid and soda. Mix and pour into the creamy mixture. We do this with a whisk or fork. We break the eggs there. It should get a thick mass.
  4. Cut the dough into three pieces. Sprinkle one with cocoa, knead thoroughly.
  5. We roll each piece of dough into a thin cake and bake it in a preheated oven on a baking sheet, which must first be greased with oil, for about 30 minutes.
  6. Let the cakes cool. At this time, let the dried fruit dry.
  7. Melt the chocolate and dip the prunes into it. We cut a few pieces of prunes and dried apricots into small cubes.
