How I make the most delicious spinach soup

Spinach soup has become a frequent guest at my dining table. I like him because of his taste, and also because it brings great benefits to the body. Despite the fact that spinach has a light, slightly sour taste and almost no smell, it received the high title of “King of Vegetables” and another funny name with a hint of “broomstick of the stomach”.

Sun and ancient Persia are considered his homeland, and we have been enjoying this vegetable since ancient times. It has so many vitamins and mineral salts, not to mention iodine, iron, folic acid, vitamins A and C.

When cooking spinach dishes using heat treatment, all useful substances are preserved, which is very rare.

This vegetable is good when it has just been picked from the garden, but it can also be prepared for the winter in sufficient quantities, for example, freeze or dry. Spinach is steamed, stewed, and also, the housewives canned it in the form of mashed potatoes. Give your children spinach dishes more often, they will like them, and many health problems will simply go away.

Today our guest is a tasty and healthy spinach soup, and he came to us from Hungary. We start to prepare Hungarian soup by carefully washing the spinach under running water. Then dry thoroughly and send to boiling water, where we cook until fully cooked. Then we take it out and leave it to cool, and do not pour out the water in which it was boiled, it will still be useful to us. In the vegetable broth just all the most valuable remains.

Next, chop the spinach with a blender. We heat the butter and send the onion, chopped into small rings, into it. Thanks to him, spinach soup will acquire a touch of spiciness and piquancy. Lightly fry the onion until transparent, do not forget to add two tbsp at the very end of the frying. tablespoons of flour.

And now we send our fragrant frying to a vegetable broth in a saucepan, which remained after cooking the spinach. Add our main ingredient, which we previously ground, to the same place.

The following ingredients are spices to taste: fresh, freshly chopped black pepper and salt. Now we cook our healthy soup until it becomes thick. After this comes the moment when you need to pour cream. At the same time, we stir our soup, gradually bringing it to a boil. It’s already so delicious, you’ll lick your fingers!

But, to give it a special chic, in a plate before serving, put a boiled homemade egg cut into two parts and browned pieces of fragrant bacon.

The most demanding gourmet will not refuse such a soup, because it is prepared with love. And how much is useful in it! If you eat it often, excellent health for the whole family is ensured.

Soup, in which spinach plays a major role, was prepared using these products:

  • spinach - 500 g;
  • water - 2 l;
  • butter - 60 g;
  • onions - 1 pc;
  • flour - 2 tbsp;
  • cream (10%) - 200 ml;
  • salt to taste;
  • black pepper;
  • egg - 3 pieces;
  • bacon 150 g

Frozen spinach soup is equally tasty. In truth, it is fresh only in season - in summer, but it does not matter, because the vegetable is perfectly frozen.

To prepare frozen spinach, blanch in boiling water for 25 seconds. After it cools down, beat the mass in a blender, make sure that it is homogeneous.

Next, heat the pan and pour the sunflower oil into it , fry the onion in it, which is cut into small cubes.

At this time, our pan is already on fire, in it we raise a cube of fragrant chicken broth. We send medium-sized potato cubes there, cook until tender.

Now pour the spinach puree into the soup, add citric acid and bring to a boil. Our magic soup is ready!

  • frozen spinach 250 g;
  • potatoes - 120 g;
  • onions - 45 g;
  • sunflower oil for frying;
  • citric acid - 0.5 g;
  • water - 850 g;
  • cube of chicken stock - 1 pc;
  • salt to taste.
