Cooking meatballs in a creamy sauce

In one of the television programs they told how to cook meatballs in sauce. Recipe really liked and settled down in my culinary notebook. With or without rice, they are a welcome guest on our table. Cooking does not take much time. The cooking process is very simple, and even an amateur cook can cope with it.

It is noteworthy that minced meat from any meat is suitable for this dish; in the described recipes there are various options in which gravy is a fundamental component and forms the final taste.

Meatballs with sour cream sauce

For minced meat we need:
chicken meat (but you can also pork or pork with beef) - 700-600 grams;
garlic - to taste and desire;
onion - 1 piece;
rice - 300 grams.

Chicken meatballs in sour cream sauce are a favorite food for children. On a side dish to them are good potatoes, pasta.

Let's get started. Prepared meat, it is better that it is moderately fat - turn in a meat grinder at the same time as onion. Boil rice in water with a little salt. Rice broth with salt. But do not pour it out - it will be needed later for the sauce. Mix rice with minced meat, salt, add spices and pepper to taste. To make it juicy, add a few spoons of tomato paste or kefir to the minced meat.

We make neat balls of small diameter. Roll them in flour or any other breading and fry in a hot pan in oil on both sides until a crust is baked.

Cooking the sauce. For it, you need rice broth, sour cream 1 glass, you can vegetables - fresh carrots and bell peppers. Mix the broth with sour cream, add chopped vegetables.

Put the meatballs in a saucepan evenly (do not use enameled ones). Pour the cooked sauce so that they are about half covered. If the sauce is small, add more water. And simmer over medium heat for about 20 minutes until cooked.

Meatballs in a creamy sauce with mushrooms

We need for stuffing:

minced meat - pork - 700 grams;
white bread or bun, pre-soaked in milk -100 grams;
egg - 1 pc.

For the sauce, we need the following ingredients:

butter - 100 gr;
dry forest mushrooms - 20 gr;
flour - 1-1.5 tbsp;
cream - 0.5 liters;
1 small grated carrots.

Before cooking the minced meat, take chopped dried mushrooms, fill it with cold water (so that it covers them) and put on the quietest fire. The next 20 minutes or a little more, until they thoroughly get wet and thicken, we are engaged in other stages of preparation.

Cooking minced meat. We cut the meat into convenient pieces and scroll in a meat grinder along with previously soaked bread. Chop the onion finely and finely and add to the meat.
Boil the rice in salt water, without slightly bringing it to readiness. Cool and mix with minced meat. Add the raw egg, salt to taste, pepper and other spices. Squeeze the garlic through a press. All mix well until smooth.

We make small balls and steam, until they are ready. If in the microwave, then it's about seven minutes at maximum power.

Let's do the sauce. Melt and heat the butter in a skillet, add carrots. Then flour, and fry all together. Then carefully pour a thin stream of cream (you can also milk), stirring constantly, so that lumps do not have time to form.

Now you need to add soaked mushrooms to the sauce, carefully, constantly stirring. We try the sauce and, if necessary, add more. Add a little nutmeg. Combine together and cook another 15 minutes.

Meatballs in a creamy sauce

Turmeric will add zest to our sauce. These are shredded plant roots that have a bright yellow color. Turmeric came to us from India. There it is added to rice, and to vegetables, and to various soups, sauces - to give an unusual taste and to acquire a characteristic yellow color. Turmeric is also used in baking, which gives the finished product a beautiful golden color. Store it in a tightly closed sealed container so that it does not lose aroma.

For this recipe we need:

250 g of prepared meat;
1 onion head;
2 boiled potatoes;
40-50 g of butter;
15 g of flour;
250 ml of broth on meat;
250 ml cream.

To cook the meatballs in a creamy sauce, melt the butter in a pan. Then carefully add flour and a pinch of turmeric. Constantly stirring, pour the broth in small portions. Without stopping stirring, let it boil a little more. When the sauce is well thickened, pour the cream into it, add a little salt and boil it.

Separately, we pass the onions in a small amount of vegetable oil until transparent. While the onions are fried, chop the mashed potatoes. Then put one spoonful of breadcrumbs and a little water to the potatoes. Mix potatoes, fried onions with minced meat. We also put a little fragrant pepper.

Using two dessert spoons soaked in cold water, we will form balls, bread them in flour and fry in oil on all sides.
Meatballs in a creamy sauce are ready, we serve them on the table with a side dish. Potato and vegetable salad are especially good for them.
